Supreme System Devourer

The heavens began to rumble and twist. Fang roared in anger.

"Where the hell is GOLD?" he roared.

[SHUT UP!]

The system yelled at its host.

[He's being judged. If found worthy, he'll receive a boon of the utmost importance]

"And if found not worthy?" Fang spoke in a hushed tone.

The system hesitated.

[Then he will be thrown down from the skies above and smitten]

Fang scowled.

The system hesitated again.

[No. I'd have preferred it if you were the one to be struck by the heavenly omen. But now, we'll have to make do with this. Either way, the golem obeys you completely. Use the boon he will have been granted will give you a massive advantage over your peers. You will be able to take over the entire world!]

Fang blanked.

"Why would I do that?" he asked.

The system stopped talking. It glared at its host.

[Are you telling me... you don't wish to take over this world?]

Fang shook his head to confirm the accusation.

[You have no dėsɨrė to be the strongest one under the heavens?]

Fang shook his head once more.

Fang shook his head again.

[You have absolutely nothing that you want?]

The system asked Fang, incredulously.

Fang shook his head to show his affirmation. Then he thought about it.

"Actually, I do want something," he spoke.

The system leaned forward, interested.

"I want a simple life!" he spoke, decisively.

Tumbling over in shock, the system glared at the host.

'Why did I get stuck with such a character?!?!?' it lamented to itself.

Gold stared ahead as he cracked his knuckles. His master stood in front of him, staring at him impassively.

Without delay, he immediately fell into a kneeling position.

Fang approached the kneeling golem and bade him rise. Gold did so and stood up. He was a towering 7 feet tall, with deep golden eyes.

"What happened over there?" Fang asked, curiously.

Gold smiled.

"The heavens blessed me," he spoke simply.

Fang smiled and raised his eyebrow for more elaboration.

"They gave me the Saintly Body Technique as well!" he spoke again, exuding joy at every word.

His body brimmed with light and vitality, shimmering like a diamond in the afternoon sun. His radiance grew to such a catastrophic brightness that Fang looked away for a second before it dimmed again. Gold smiled at his master.

"Master, I must tell you something else!" he spoke, cheerfully.

Fang looked surprised.

"Something else? Go on," he encouraged Gold.

The golem smiled with the radiance of a thousand blades.

"I've conquered the entire Eastern Continent for you! As of now, you are the sole ruler of the whole of the Eastern portion of the continent!" he spoke, thunderously.

The heavens boomed with his announcement!

Fang looked thunderstruck.

'I own... the entire Eastern continent!' he thought.

He swooned and nearly fainted.
