There is a saying, time heals pain and others accompanion boosts it. Perhaps, Qian Luo was in that state. It had been months since she last heard about Lu Jinnian which was the news about him resigning. He seemed to disappear from this world, as if he had never existed before.

Ocassionally, she would think of him. However, Su Yicheng who had always been there for her seemed to cloud his existence in her mind. She sighed, looking through the floor-to-ceiling window. 'Perhaps, one day, he will be meaningless for me.' She turned around and found the man who had always been there for her cooking her favourite dish.

She walked toward the man and sat across him on the kitchen table. "I might be fed into pig.",she protested.

Su Yicheng laughed heartily. "I'm rich enough to feed a pig. Don't you think so?"

This word had been said for too many times, but she still wanted to tell him. She could never imagine how would her life be if it was not Su Yicheng who always accompanied her.

Upon hearing her serious tone, Su Yicheng patted her head gently. "Don't say this kind of thing anymore."

No one knew better than himself that he had not replaced the one in her heart, the one who had hurt her times to times but still caught her heart.

"Xiao Luo, you must remember that when life seems so hard to you. You just need to turn around, I'll always be there."

Qian Luo who had been digging on her food paused the moment Su Yicheng said something so touching. She looked at his glistening eyes, then she smiled. "I know. Give me more time."

It's a promise. A promise to give herself a chance to be loved and to love someone who cherished her.

As for Su Yicheng, his lips curved up. Finally, he got the chance to be a man, not a guardian any longer.

At the moment, both of them wished to stop the time.
