Lu Ming has his answer, her silence was the proof of her feelings for Jing Xi. His eyes were colder than the hailstorm.

The room was covered in silence and a darkness that was too uncomfortable.

The frightening silence continued for over ten minutes.

Jing Yi could see a cold storm behind Lu Ming's eyes, even if she wanted to reply she was to afraid to do so now. Her palm was covered in sweat, her heart was too scared that it was clearly visible over her face.

She was afraid she would be a victim of his impulsive anger again for no reason.

But all she could do was to stand still. She was too afraid to move.

And her fears were valid as well, Lu Ming had ferocious thoughts inside his head. His emotions were in a turmoil if he were to get angry, there was no way he could hold back.

But then the more he looked into her fearful moist eyes...

"Get out"

His hoarse voice carried a hint of nasal choking as if saying those simple two words caused him pain.

Jing Yi immediately hurried out after receiving the decree and rushed as if there wouldn't be a chance to escape if she delayed.

The door closed.

Lu Ming was rooted in the same place, subconsciously his hand stopped in front of his chest.

Seeing her escape, the long pain spreads further.

The Lu Ming, whose IQ was high and the EQ which was not very high, he never had such strong feelings for any one or in any situation. He has only concentrated and dedicated himself to work.

So when Jing family has asked for the marriage to strengthen their business bonds, he had agreed without hesitation.

He had never experienced these sorts of emotions before, and hence he couldn't accept them for a while. Denying them as an illusion caused by exhaustion.

Every night he wrote his thoughts in a diary and today when she confirmed her feelings for Jing Xi, Lu Ming realized she had already gotten to a place where she can make him feel uncomfortable.

He wasn't in control of his emotions anymore.

Jing Yi went back to the bedroom like a fugitive, slammed the door shut and panted heavily.

She was so scared, she thought he would kill her!

She had to find some way!

Next few days, Lu Ming didn't go to the master bedroom to sleep.

The faint little bruises on Jing Yi's collar bone and some other places were getting better.

Though they lived under the same roof, the two of them didn't see each other in the daytime, and by the time he would come home at night she would already be asleep or do so as soon as she heard the sound of car parking from the yard.

Since that day's incident, Jing Yi was afraid of meeting Lu Ming, whether she was sleep or not, she will hide inside the blankets. Because when he will check on her at night, she was afraid if she is found awake he would enter and glare at her with those cold eyes.

But after finding her asleep, he would come inside and get his things before leaving.
