"If you leave it at the reception, I will hand it over to the managing director."

"His mother instructed me to deliver it directly to the managing director."

"Please wait for a moment."

While Junkyung was holding the reception bone, common classical music was playing. The tone of the music was switching to another tune when the person in the receiver returned. 

"Come up."

Junkyung hung up the phone and was guided by the reception staff to the executive eleavor. The staff bowed their head as they held the elevator with the key card. While Junkyung returned the bowed, the quietly closed elevator went up to the top floor without stopping. The lift felt like a flow of water. 

"Come this way." As soon as the door opened, the staff was waiting. As in a luxury hotel, the corridor with luxurious and understated interior decoration was covered with thick carpets, and there was a subtle scent. The place he was guided to was in front of a door made of the finest wood. 

The employee who opened the door with a slight knock put Junkyung ahead. There was only a large sofa set, a desk, and a young man inside. Seeing Junkyung, he glanced at him slightly. The other person got up from the seat and showed Junkyung a professional smile. 

"Sit there, wait a minute."

"Yes." Junkyung headed to the sofa pointed to by the other person. The package of side dishes he had brought was placed on the table in front of the sofa. Junkyung thought it would be about  5 minutes because he said it was a short time or 10 minutes at most. However, until the 20 minutes passed, Junkyung remained seated."

"Yes, manager. Yes, I will tell him that."

There were many extension calls from the inside. Occasionally, there was a knock and a staff member who guided Junkyung earlier sent in another person. They went inside and came out less than 5 minutes later. None of the people who went in with tense expressions came out in a good mood. 

If Hyun-woo isn't there, leave it alone, but make sure to see Executive Director Min. He hasn't been home at all these days. 

That was what the madam asked Jun-Kyung to do. She added that Hyun-seung Min, managing director, should be look closely to see if there are any bruises on his face and whether he had lost any weight. She was worried that he might be overworked since it's only been four years since the eldest son died from being overworked and the second son was selected as the successor. 

Junkyung took out his cellphones to look at pictures of Director Min that was send to him in advance. There were profile pictures taken at various events. Due to his great stature, he stood out even in photos. Every one can tell he was an alpha. He continued to flip photos. Since they were close-up photos from afar, the background was blurred. Junkyung knows he's tall, but he can't quite tell how tall. 

Director Min was handsome, but his impression was so strong that his appearance was fading. Junkyung hoped that the unknown employee who was holding a camera didn't have a heart attack. As much as the overly solemn expression on Director Min's face, Junkyung heard that his personality is actually on the quiet side. Director Min enjoy resting quietly by himself, so Junkyung evaluated him as an introvert. 

The alpha heir of the great conglomerate is an introvert. How ironic. That's why he has a mysterious charm like that main character of a drama. 

Madam was very worried about her children especially her sons. It was only natural since the eldest son died. It would be good for children to ease their parents'worries, but young children are not the type to contact their parents as often as they do. Junkyung was the same. Being the son of a wealthy family was nothing different. 

For this reason, madam wanted him to look at how her two sons are doing using side dishes as an excuse. It was his job today to observe as much as possible and report any abnormalities. He glanced at his watch. The minute hand of the watch had rotated more than half a turn since he first entered. 

Bzzt. Bzzt. The phone vibrated. It was madam. 

"Yes, madam."

"Is Hyun-woo at home?"

"Yes, he was. It was delivered directly to him a while ago."

"What about Managing Director Min?"

"Still waiting."

"Are you in the office? How long have you been waiting?"

"About 35 minutes."

"Ugh. he make people wait. What's so hard about getting a side dish?" Soon, the phone was disconnected. Immediately, the phone in front of the staff rang. 

Yes, madam. He is in the office, all right." The employee who hung up the phone pressed another button while holding the handset. Then, he glanced at Junkyung. 

"Your mother called. Yes, I will connect you right away." The employee quietly put the handset down. After a while, the employee answered the extension call again and finally got up and beckoned to Junkyung. 

"The director is asking you to come in."
