That Adonis is Mine!

A series of knock reeled Shawn thought back yet the few amorous images still stuck in his mind. As he calmed himself down, he allowed Delaila to enter his office. Delaila receiving her approval to enter, hence she opened the door and walked inside while carrying a food box and a few files.

She placed the files on top of his desk while still carrying the food box. Shawn looked back at her from the corner of his eye, gesturing her to say whatever in her mind as he planned to start his work for the day lest he would be doing nothing but thinking about Sophie all over again.

"Chief Shawn, if that is all for today, may I leave now ?"

Hearing Delaila request, Shawn considered for a short while before allowing her so. But then it comes to him - 'all for today', 'now'.

He isn't himself for the whole day! He has been thinking about her for the whole day!

Not trusting himself or to a possibility being pranked on, he glanced over his watch to see the time. Then he took out his phone to check the time but then he noticed his battery was flat. He looked over his room to find anything to indicate time but none was there thus he looked out the fully on privacy mode window of his office window.

Delaila was puzzled looking at her boss that somehow today was out of his comfort zone - surprisingly cute. Delaila holding herself well from giving him a like and thumbs up.

'Gap is moe'

When she saw Shawn looking all over the room looking for something, she stood aside to give him the full view of his room unhindered. Then she saw a disappointment in his eyes, but that puzzled her more. So when she saw his attention when to the office window, Delaila unconsciously walked towards the room switches and turned the privacy mode to partial - where they could see the darkened sky.

Shawn seriously wasted a day thinking about her when he felt the time flies like seconds. Perhaps he didn't need to dilly dally about this anymore, the longer he is being indecisive, the lesser time he could spend with her.

As he reached his verdict, he stood up from his seat to make haste. With a pair of eyes staring back at him jolted him.

"Why are you still here?"

Shawn couldn't help but raise his voice slightly higher. He didn't expect his assistant would still be inside his office. Delaila foresees herself in deep trouble to remain inside the room, hasten to make her way. But before she walked out his room, noticing she's holding a food box she turned back and placed the food box on the table.

"I think you would need this more than I do, Chief"

`Why do I have a feeling I don't want to know what it is?'

But looking at the dazzled eyes of wanting to tell in Delaila eyes made Shawn relented and asked away, "What's inside?"

"Reishi Mushroom and Deer Antler dish. A healthy natural Viagra!"
