That Adonis is Mine!

Sophie felt someone tucked her in and sitting on the edge of the bed. A smell of rosewood lingers and her lips curved up simultaneously. Her eyelids twitching for lack of sleeps. Her eyes gradually opened and the sight of the black hair man brought her delight.

She lifted her body up but her whole body felt a dull ache, specifically at her lower body. Her muscles was sore, thus her movement was quite restraint. She slowly raise up her body to be in sitting position.

Sophie noticed the unresponsive the man in front of her, probably thinking of something dark again as his brows lowered in displeased. Sophie moved closer, then hugged him from the back. The man was jolted a bit but later relaxed.

"When did you arrived?"

"Just now."

A silent yet comfortable air surround the room, but it was disturbed by growling sound of hunger. The man chuckles then removed Sophie's hand that was wrapped on his waist before walking to the small kitchen.

Sophie stand up, dress up in an oversize t shirt without wearing anything else and followed him like a small kid. She sit on the chair near the kitchen counter, waiting for the man to cook. The sight of a man taking care of him bring mirth to her.

She's Sophie Shane, a descendant of a prominent clan in City N. Never had she thought a man that she loved since young age betrayed her and her family.

Everything went south since the explosion at Samejima Hotel that stole her brother's life. The death of Vincent caused her mother to fall ill and bedridden. That made her father aged overnight. To help her father, she agreed with David's suggestion to marry into her family and became the successor of the Shanes.

Then her nightmare started. She married to David but he never touches her, including their wedding night. David used the excuse "too busy" and rarely returned home, but she believed in all his lies because whenever she asked his assistant, Lily, she always confirmed his excuses.

Never she thought that her husband was cheating her with his assistant. When she found out, she cried to her parents for help. But the whole thing made her mother condition even worse and later passed away. Disheartened by the death of his wife, her father later commit suicide.

Sophie had exposed Lily as a marriage wrecker, in hope that David would come back to her. Yes, he returned. But she was beaten black and blue. He actually tied her on bed, brought Lily back with him and having sex with her on THEIR own bed with her been forced to watch them. She felt repulsed.

When she thought that was all, things got worse. She was humiliated by David - drugged with aphrodisiac substance, blindfolded, gang raped and video recorded. She was blackmailed into divorce and leave everything to David.
