The doorknob was turned and the door ajar. Michael stood up and waiting for his guest to walk inside the room. When he saw John at the door, Michael flashes his smile and welcomed them in like a great host he is.





"Welcome, John. Have a seat."





John who opened the door was quite surprised to see Michael have already waiting for them inside the room. He pushed the door wide enough for him to enter the room and making his way toward Michael while Shawn follows behind him closely.





"Michael, did I make you wait?"





John raised his right hand for a handshake and Michael complied to same gesture as well as he replied to John.





"No. I was early and you on time, my friend."





Always on time is a businessman moral code. A business deemed failed if you were unable to manage your time well. Thus, John concern legit as he is afraid that he made his friend and business partner waiting long.





Shawn on another hand was shocked. Never crossed his mind that he would be meeting Michael House here tonight. Tonight where he supposed to be meeting his future "brother-in-law" or "sister-in-law" depending on if his brother is top or bottom.





But his brother's partner is Michael House?! What kind of dogshit is this?!





Though Shawn felt like he was been pranked on, he still maintained his perfect persona, walking close with John and waiting for a chance to introduce himself.





"So, this is Shawn Edward?"





When Shawn heard his name, he flashes a friendly smile and nodded his head while extending his hand for a shake,





"I'm Shawn Edward, nice to meet you."


"Michael House, nice to meet you too."





Michael extended his hand and gave Shawn a firm handshake, a habit he developed after years in military school. But such action gives a wrong perception to Shawn.
