The Driver was running away from a huge sand snake.

The snake leaped at the Taxi Driver with its fangs open in order to eat him but fortunately Jay jumped and rescued the driver.

"Are you fine? You aren't injured right?"

Jay asked the man but he wasn't in any state to answer jay right now since a moment ago he was in near death situation.

After rescuing the driver he immediately turned around to take care of the snake but the snake has already vanished.

And going after it would be too risky so Jay didn't follow it and stayed with the driver in order to comfort him as he knows what near death situations feel like.
