The Adventurer System

The wooden place was entirely enveloped by deafening silence as Yumiro requested an impossible task for Asarki.

"Eh? Are you of your mind? Even me, I didn't know if I can reach that place." Asarki yelled as surprised at what she heard.

Yet, Yumiro already predicted his response since he discovered there a lot of adventurers were inhabited the VR world.

He sighed, looking for the best words used to explain their current situation to Asarki. "Jeez, calm down and lower your voice. I'm not here for fetching with a shout to you."

She knitted her forehead, then back her leaned on the wooden chair. "Okay, let's sort things out one by one. And don't surprise me with your words.

Two of them had serious eyes while looking at each other, and Yuki was dumbfounded at them since she was too young to easily understand their current situation.

"Asarki you must aware of what is Heaven's Dream, isn't it?" Yumiro started his words by asking her.

She slowly nodded as all of the adventurers inside the VR world knows it. "Of course, this is a place where is the strongest adventurers leveling."

"I guess we hadn't a problem here..." He barely bent his body closer to Asarki while his hands clasped to each other. "Yuki said, she's inhabited in that place, so I'm here giving a hand to her to get back where is she come from." Yumiro said in a low voice.

"What?!" The entire place shook by her yelled, enough reason for the others adventurers to yell back at them.

"What's your problem?! Why you kept shouting, dumb**s!"

"If you're not going to sleep, let's the other sleep!"

The adventurer's check-in to Chirla's inn yelled back while stomping the wooden door. Since each room wasn't protected by soundproof their conversation could hear by the others. Also, the distance one of them was closest enough to each room.

"I'm sorry Mister, I promise I won't yell anymore!" Asarki covered her mouth by using her hand.

"Shut up! Don't wait for me to come over to your place!" A man with a gruff tone yelled.

"Don't mind them, we must avoiding to get any attention from the adventurer when we are here. So stop from yelling, your voice is itching my ears." Yumiro said, then used his index finger to rub his ear."

"Sorry, Grim. I never expect this little girl is born in a strong place, so there's a chance she's strong too."??

Someone pumped inside Yumiro's body that made him narrowly flinched. "What did you say? I don't get it."

"As far as I can see this little girl is an NPC, isn't it?"

Yumiro nodded to her. "Yes, what's the matter behind it?"

"Hmm... Nothing special, but I think this little girl is possessed by strong magical power." Asarki said, then patted Yuki's silky black hair. But, Yuki's stepped back with a trembled body, after seeing Asarki bluish eyes suddenly glowed.

"Why can you tell that? Or rather to say, what is your basis to know Yuki is a strong little girl."

"Did I tell you, right? That my zexel is placed in my eyes, which means I can see that the normal couldn't see." Asarki said while seeing Yuki was surrounded by a tough golden aura all over her body. However, the man next to her had a sharper black aura that could reach the ceiling. "Why I didn't see it when we are inside the dungeon?"

"Okay, let's say Yuki is that kind of strong. But, how can we reach the Heaven's Dream?"

Asarki smoothly rubbed her chin. "Hmm... I know you already have the answer with this."

He stood up. "Don't you think, I'll gonna ask you if I know the answer." He replied with a calm tone.

"Okay, okay, okay, I'll tell it, but in one condition." Asarki said with persuasive eyes.

"What is it?"

"Let me join in your every expedition, don't worry I'm not aiming to come along with you in the elevated continent. I just want to develop my supporting skill, if I join you. Also, I know the expedition is exciting if I stick around with you." She said with a grin on her face.

Yumiro contemplated at her for a couple of seconds. Inside his mind, Asarki will be a big benefit in his expedition since she had possessed by interesting zexel. Moreover, she had numerous information than his slave.

"Okay, I'll let you join for Yuki's sake." He won't spit the reason behind it. "So now, tell me how we can reach the Heaven's Dream."

"It has a simple answer, Grim. Get stronger..." Asarki said without hesitation.

"That's all?" Yumiro asked her once more.

"Yes, but not only you. Yuki needs to get stronger too because there's a chance you will face hard circumstances and you could guarantee if you can save her or not." She pointed her index finger to Yuki.

"Eh, why she could do that? She needs to train in this world?"

"Grim, sometimes use your head and stop asking for the obvious answer. Of course, she needed to join in our upcoming expedition. Support or just seizing monster's core is enough as long as she can get an experience from the monster we killed." Her voice raised a bit, but, Asarki reminded him something. "But you can't do that for now. Because the guild selection will happen in the next 5 days, you need to participate in this big event, or else you will miss a big chance to reach the elevated continent. Then after the guild selection, we will enroll at the academy to awaken our magic attributes."

Yumiro suddenly looks miserable as he realised climbing at the Heaven's Dream wasn't that kind of easy.

"We needed to do all that things?" He said in a low voice.

"Brother Grim, if it's hard for you don't bother yourself. I'll find my way to get back." Yuki said with a polite tone.

"No, Yuki. I'm happy to help you, I'm just asking if there is a small way for those things. So don't worry, I'll help you no matter what."

"There's no skip if you really wanted to become a stronger adventurer, so I were you be ready. The guild selection is waiting for you, let's go!"
