The Adventurer System

Hippie and Yumiro were standing in front of the bridge that headed to a huge gate. Treasure place or the dungeon boss those the two ideas popped inside their heads.

There are two options here TAKE the upcoming scenario inside the gate and LEAVE so they continue hunting some monsters in the maze place.

"Which one would you choose?" Yumiro asked the woman that looking under the deep bridge.

Under it, their vision was zero visibility, but they could tell it could drain their HP once they fall into it. 

Hippie looking at his face with terrified eyes because even she knew the true capability of Grim. Still, they couldn't assure if they can survive inside that place.

However, she wasn't in the right position to refuse. So she slowly nodded her head as she agreed to him.

"Fine, b-but if we found out that place is out the range of our ability. We should leave."

He swayed his left hand while slowly closing his eyes. "Okay, okay, if that is you wanted." Yumiro replied, then took a deep breath. "Sigh... I'll head first and stay in my back, so we can sense if there's monster would approach us."

Bam! Bam!

Then suddenly, Yumiro blinking his eyes in surprise after seeing Hippie slapped her face.

"?"

Yumiro dumbfounded at him, thinking this woman was out of her mind. Since those slaps were strong enough to knock down an ordinary person.

Her cheeks were reddened, then look at Grim with an uncomfortable smiled on her face. "Hehe, yeah I'll stay in your behind."

It seemed the reason why she did that, was to wake up her senses. As she felt terrified every time she was looking at the gate.

"I'm okay now, Grim. I'll do everything to become useful in this expedition."

In what she did, her terrified eyes before turned into perseverance eyes. However, Yumiro won't mind himself for asking her, as it was too obvious.

"Do whatever you want, just don't block my way. Don't worry I wouldn't abandon since I taking care of my record." He said, then sauntered towards the bridge.

As soon as Grim moved, Hippie immediately followed him. So she wasn't left behind and avoid unnecessary scenarios that might happen.

On their sides, had no walls either lights to help them to glance around. Only the huge gate in front of them they could see, besides it, was darkness.

After a few seconds, Hippie and Yumiro were almost in the amid of the bridge. Despite the setting of this place, Hippie was too cautious as she was savvy there was something will happen here.

Crack!

As expected, a suspicious sound transpired in their behind, so both of them turned to see what was it.

[Fiery sword!]

To determine, what happened there. Hippie took the kobold's knife that was placed on her right waist. She then raised it over her head.

A green magical light easily enveloped the spot around them. The light was enough to see the occurrence happening behind them.

"What the heck! Grim, run!" Hippie hastily ordered him.

The surface shook them which made them lost their footing a bit. As the bridge where they walking before was started to collapse.

"Hurry! Hurry! We would die when we fall in this height!" She worried yelled while pushing Grim to speed up.

At this point, their enemy wasn't the monsters or adventurers. It was the place, as the bridge chasing them with exceeded speed.

However, Yumiro was still calmed, knowing in his current speed would easily escape from this sequence. But, his problem was Hippie since it making unnecessary movements that could be the main reason why she will fall to the bridge.

"Calm down, idiot! And stop your body from trembling!" He advised her.

"Why I should do that?! I can stop it every time I think I'll fall with this." She replied with a shivered tone.

While running, Yumiro annoyingly rubbed the back of his head. "Damn it! Why do I always do this?" He uttered to his mind, then stopped from his swift face.

As soon as he saw Hippie running towards him. He lowered himself and planning to catch him.

Boom! Boom!

Behind her, the collapsing bridge was near to catch her. Along with the thick dust that will encircle her body.

When the moment, her distance was around 4 meters. Yumiro directly dashed, then grabbed her waist and legs.

"Don't move we'll leave this bridge." He didn't consult her when he carried her.

[Physical transmission!]

[Dash]

Red gleaming light flowing through his vein, it was flowing into his legs and arms. He was concentrating his strength in the accumulated part of his body to increase his speed.

Swoosh!

After a few were moments, he released it with an outstanding speed. The exact distance of the huge gate was 76 meters. However, he reached in just 4.3 seconds. 

Bam!

Both of them rolled to the ground many times, and Yumiro's head whacked on the gate. As he was covering Hippie to didn't receive any unexpected damages.

Boom! Boom!

He scratched again the back of his head since it shook him. "Jeez! It's itchy--"

All of a sudden, he darted his eyes on the other surface. Or to be exact, he was looking at the tunnel where they arrived earlier.

"That man!"

Yumiro gritted his teeth while glaring at him, it was Malik that had a malicious smile on his face. While around him, was a magic light and the main reason why Grim could see him from afar.

He leaned Hippie's back on the gate that had a mild heat, then took a glance around to find a path as he was eager to kill him. But unfortunately, that bridge was the only way to reach that surface.

Malik was waving his hand along with an orange light behind him. "Oi! I'm sorry, I didn't expect there's an adventurer was taking this bridge."

By just looking at him, you could tell this man was just tried to mock Grim. Also, after saying those words Malik left.

"Good luck there! I hope you die! No, I mean you're not going to die there--" Malik stopped when he bumped into Cricket. "Cricket you're blocking my way."

He barely pushed him, but Cricket's shoulder swung back.

"Why did you destroy the bridge? Are you just dumb? Because I can see your head is full of trash." 

Nevertheless, Cricket was casting magic power on the mouth of his gun. Or to be more simple, a blue-white light gathering in the tip of Cricket's gun.

"Hey! Hey! What are you trying to do?!" Malik worriedly asked him. Since Cricket's attack could inflict internal bleeding and easily drained half of his health power.

Yet, Morga tapped Cricket's shoulder. "Cricket, it's not worth it if you kill him. Let me do that." Morga took her knife, then swiftly pointed it at Malik's neck.

"Eh? Why all of you are mad about me? Huh? Kill me and you know what will happen next. Also, that bridge is useless, it just full of monsters." Malik explained.

"Full of monsters? What if that is the place where is the dungeon boss inhabited? Or that is the treasured place we are looking for?" Morga said while her blade was getting deeper and didn't mind if there's was some blood dripping into it. 

"That's impossible! That place is called the masterpiece. I heard the rumors no one entered inside of it since in the entrance the monsters instantly approach you." Malik said.

Moreover, when the moment Morga heard what she said. She loosens her attention, so Malik was enabled to push her back.

"Cut that crap! Let's keep moving! I already finish the man that made all of you problematic. So from now on, we should focus to find the treasure place." Malik ordered them at once, even though no one would like to listen to him.

On the other hand, Yumiro was started to calm after Malik's existence vanished from his vision.

"I swear to God, I'll kill you when I see you around. No matter what you're inside the safe zone, I'll keep stabbing you until the system couldn't regenerate your health power."

He turned around and looking at Hippie that already regained his footing.

"Grim, hehe, I'm sorry. I suddenly lost my focus." She bowed her head while had an uneasy smile on her face.

"Forget it, it will never bring back the things that already happened. However, our problem is this gate." Yumiro said, then pointing his index finger at the elevated screen that appeared in front of them.

Hippie widened her eyes, as she didn't anticipate there was a hidden story behind this dungeon. As expected, already knew some of the stories because of the quest.

Huge gate and inside of it was a door. Then now, Yumiro looking at Hippie that he needed something from her. So he sauntered closer to her.

"Hey, what is your choice? You'll join me or you'll leave this place?"
