[Versal Ball]

To be exact, Yumiro and Hippie's opponents were the Dark elf and two Goblin mage. It was called Hobgoblin a creature that possessed a magical power.

However, the problem was the excessive gathering of magic power in a certain position. The mage Hobgoblin pointed their magic wand directly on the Dark elf's chest.

A dark-violet light circulating in one position while the Dark elf swaying its hands at the same time. Seemingly this monster regulating all the mana coming for the three of them.

Yumiro grabbed Hippie's shoulders, then used the wall to change their position in an instant. "Let's go!"

Boom!

After he spits those words, a massive explosion occurred at the right corner of the vast platform.

It shook the place and the 10 meters part of the platform was badly destroyed. "No, it can't be..."

Both of them were lying to the ground and took some scratches all over their bodies. At this point, it was inevitable to receive some damage with the Dark elf.

"Come on, stand up. We should do something to survive with this." Yumiro worriedly said as this first time he could feel this type of situation.

Hearing his words, Hippie forcefully pushed herself to regain his footing. "I apologize, Grim. Watch out--"

Clang!

He pulled his Kariki knife just to block the monster's spear. "Come on, give me a break. These monsters..." He gritted his teeth as he felt annoyed.

It seemed those monsters didn't give them a chance to recover, so the adventurers couldn't fight back instantly.

"Darn it, I'll assists you." Hippie said, then blocked the monster's on the right side.

Clang!

She frowned her brows after knowing the Trivial soldier's strength was suddenly increased than the first time she received it.

"Jeez, I never anticipated this soldier would grab a power like this." Hippie said and clicking her tongue at the same time.

The skirmish that happened in the vast surface was turned the same, as the Trivial soldiers didn't let the adventurers attain closer distance with the other monsters.

Clang! Clang!

Hippie and Yumiro couldn't do anything just to block the consecutive attack from the soldiers. Moreover, there was a strong mana gathering in the right corner where the place was covered by thick dust.

Swoosh!

He glimpsed into it, then seeing its size could hit them at once. To be exact, it was 2.5 meters that could eat their entire bodies.

"Oh, crap! Hippie, fall back at once. Then wait for the magic skill to pass off before we charge again." He warned her and used his physical skills to get away from this situation.

To begin with, he kicked the spear handle, which made the soldier stepped back for 2 meters. It slid and causing to have a delayed movements

She nodded a bit, then horizontally swung her knife.

She breakthrough the monster's defense. "I understood, Grim. I'm good now because I know we can win in this one. Also, I know you're holding your power." She said in a low voice while forcing herself to catch up with Grim's pace.

Then suddenly, seems someone pinched his shoulders as his body involuntary raised it a bit.

'Eh? How did she know that I was holding my power? Let her be, there's no simple reason behind it after all. It's just myself.' He uttered to his mind along with the thoughts to use his [Core devourer] skill. 

"I'm not holding back, I'm just not in the mood to fight them." He smirked and added. "Once we come back there, you should not block my way. I'll let you witness where I'm capable of."

While dashing a mild heat touched their skins, as it perhaps came from the magical skill behind them.

"Oh, I think it's interesting. But, I would let you put on a show. I'll also do my best so you become aware that I'm a worthy party member." She grinned, then stopped their feet in the platform's edge.

"You've some guts, Hippie. Also, you're ahead 4 levels than my level, so you should some power that proving that you're my senior in this world." He said provoking words to encourage Hippie to wouldn't hold down.

"You know, Grim. The character level in this world doesn't matter just like what you mentioned. Once you're gifted: you're gifted nobody could change that fact."

Then suddenly she had an uneasy smile on her face and her hand turned into a fist. It seemed those words had a big meaning for him.

"Gifted, huh? This is a game, so the players are playing this game equivalently. So stop talking none sense words it couldn't help you to grow." He said while seeing a consecutive explosion where were they positioned earlier.

"No, Grim. You didn't notice it? when the time you acquired your zexel you could tell each adventurer had a big difference. So you can't say the adventurer who played this VR game was even."

Hippie pointing the difference between the zexel since some of the adventurers could easily grow because of the unique passive skill they acquired.

"Like me, I just got a Fiery passive skill. My zexel focused on have swift movements and precise attacks, but as you can see I have no match to you when we talk about the speed. On top of that, I'm ahead four levels of you as of now, yet, you actually could tell the big difference between us. You're gifted, Grim. I do not doubt it." Her tears slowly dripped in the corner of her eyes.

Yumiro narrowly looking at her, while in his grasp was the core of the Kobold. He secretly backs it inside his inventory, as the black spatial could appear when where he will it.

In his mind using the [Core devourer] skill could easily discourage Hippie. So hiding in the meantime was a smart plan just to help her to wouldn't lose her fight spirit in this expedition.

'Why I'm always doing this? However, she's actually right having a different zexel could put you at an advantage.' He spoke to his mind, then took a glance at the scene. "You should stop from thinking, this is the reason why can't complete any simple task. Oh, you're right we have a big difference because I'm more motivated than you are."

Hearing those words by ordinary people you could tell it was harsh words. However, it will become a different story if you saw it from another aspect. Just like what Hippie did.

'He's right, I keep looking down on myself without thinking where I'm capable. Also, I kept saying I'll do everything, but at this point, I realized I never do anything. I'm totally a loser, it can't help this is the reality I need to face it no matter what.' She raised her head, seeing Grim fearlessly started to dash at the monsters' location. "Thank you, Grim. I didn't expect you're the man who will open up my eyes."

She hardly slapped her face and turned it into redden cheek. Nevertheless, it caught Grim's scrutiny which made him stop and glanced at her.

"She do it again, however, I think it's become better for her. She already awakens her senses." He murmured while having a malicious smile on his face.

Her stiff body suddenly becomes relaxed. Now Hippe was looking at Grim with full of desire as it seemed she would never commit any mistakes in this fight.

"Let's go, Grim. We should rid those monsters. I don't know the reason but I'm aching to slice a monster's flesh." Hippie said in a serious tone and the aura she was releasing turned differently.

"Oh, like it how she persistent. Yet, there's no reason to turn her down." Yumiro said while changing his sword to a knife, so it would allow him to have swift movement speed.

"I'll go ahead, follow me!" Hippie yelled, then charged inside the thick dust that easily covered her existence.

"Eh? Now she was over motivated." He deeply sighed eventually followed her at his keen pace.

At this point, it couldn't help to take away in his mind that the word of Hippie said earlier. 'Battle mode? What is it all about? Or it just words because she felt pressured by a strong monster like this? What I'm thinking? I should catch up to her, we needed to breakthrough at the soldiers if we want to this fight.'

After a few were moments, he had zero visibly and didn't hear Hippie stomped. "Oh, she can move without flaws, impressive."

As soon as he escaped from the dust, the Trivial soldiers were already lying on the ground. "What happened here?" He asked himself, then gazed in front of him.

His eyelids were widened after seeing Hippie already made 25 meters distance from him. "I just delayed for 1.25 seconds, why is she already facing the monsters there."

He clicked his tongue along with a smirk on his face. "Darn it! You've hidden something like this, huh. I'm right, you're better than this."
