The Adventurer System

Yumiro chortled and eventually glared at the woman beside him.

"I don't have a wife, Hippie. What the hell you're thinking of me?" He said in a cold tone, then took the transparent crystal out of his inventory.

More words occurred on his behind, as Morga and Cricket think the same thing.

"Oi, Grim. Why you didn't tell us that you have a beautiful wife and cute daughter?" Cricket said, then used his elbow to gently pushed as he wanted to murmur something. "You've a gorgeous maid, Grim. Can you introduce me to her?"

On the other side, Morga was just slowly nodded. As she letting her mind to sink-in all the scenes that she witnessed.

"Hmm... Hmm... Yeah, isn't possible. Grim is a popular and handsome adventurer. He could easily make a family in this game." Morga said while slowly rubbed her chin.

Yumiro seemed couldn't take all the words he received. So he raised his left hand along with his brows.

"Can you lower your voice and leave this place?" He said in a serious tone and added. "She's not wife, that woman is just my party member. Also, that little girl is NPC. We just helping her."

It's explained everything since there's no reason for Grim to lie. On top of that, Morga and Cricket finally recognized Asarki's face.

"Don't tell me, that woman is the woman who Malik attacked?" They said at once, as both of them knew how Malik used the traps to make an explosion.

Yumiro nodded. "Yeah, so leave right now. Before I remember that I need to kill you."

The two adventurers bowed to sincerely apologize. However, they were already terrified so they used their crystal to leave the Barlane Dungeon.

"Yes, we are truly sorry for what Malik did. Yet, thank you so much, and call us if you need some members in your expedition."

"Yeah! Yeah! So leave."

Morga turned to Hippie. "Thank you, Hippie. Let's meet somewhere." She then remembered something. "Grim, before we leave I would like to give this knife back."

"Keep it, I have a lot of that knife," Yumiro responded nonchalantly.

"Thank you again, Grim. I'll cherish this knife." She bowed her once more and invited Cricket to leave this dungeon. "Let's go, Cricket. We need to train somewhere."

"Yeah, you're right." He stood up straight and said. "Grim, let's do our best in guild selection."

"Goodbye!"

After they spit those words, a blue-white light encircled their body in an instant. After that, their existence in the Barlane dungeon was completely disappeared.

"Phew! Finally, they leave." He wiped the sweat that formed on his temple.

"Grim, you look so tense. We are just asking you, so if that woman is your wife we can give the respect like what we are giving to you." She explained while crossing her fingers.

"I'm not tense with your questions. I'm tense because three of you are suffocating me. I don't want anyone to get closer to me." Yumiro said in a bit high tone.

"Is that so... Okay." She sharply exhaled and agreed. "We're going right now? We need to separate this loot and core."

"You'll come with me to the Adventure Capital. Also, you'll help me to find where's the mid-realm." He said, then tapped her shoulder.

"Eh? It's an easy task, Grim. Everyone knew where the mid-realm was located. We should split our loots here." She replied.

"Them, but me I don't know where is it. So you need to come along with me--?" He responded as he already attempted to use the crystal.

"Wait, mid-realm? In the popularity, you had right now. You must be living in the upper-realm, isn't it?" Hippie asked him.

Yumiro deeply sighed as he started to get annoyed to answer her obvious question. "Where's your brain, Hippie? In your feet? You didn't hear what she said? Asarki is in the mid-realm."

Hippie uncomfortably smiled. "Hehe, sorry, Grim. We should leave."

It took few moments. Then Grim used teleportation crystal to immediately leave the Barlane dungeon.

Afterward, Grim and Hippie landed on the marble surface. Where the other weak and strong adventurers were strolling around.

A cold breeze touched on their skins, which made them relaxed and comfortable.

"It's good to be back." Hippie said along with cheerfully inhaled.

Yet, as soon as their outward appearances were revealed. All the adventurers around the area hurriedly took a glance at them. As they immediately saw the screen names who defeated the Dark elf.

"Hey look at there! Those are Hippie and Grim Draigh. The adventurers who are defeated the Dark elf." A man with a skinny physique and blonde hair barked.

So adventurers and journalists rush to Grim's place. As they wanted to clarify something on how they got entered in the Dark elf's room.

"Hippie!"

"Grim Draigh!"

"We need to ask him how he always got a massive quest like this. So, he's the only one who got the achievements here."

"What level 21 and level 25? Don't tell me, just two of them defeated the kind of task?"

Those were the words what their ears hearing right now. Hippie was literally glad as she receiving huge attention from the other adventurers. Which was good progress if you wanted to become a celebrity streamer like the others.

However, Yumiro felt the opposite feeling as he didn't want one of the hundreds of adventurers in this place. Moved closer to him since he was having short breathing.

"Eh? What are their problems?" He grabbed Hippie's wrist, but still, the adventurers were already surrounded them. And didn't give any opening to let them escapes.

A middle-aged man with a thin arm stepped forward. He then pointed his wireless microphone under Grim's mouth.

"I'm Kiba the journalist from the Hisen broadcasting. The number one station if we talk about for giving an exacts news. We assured you all the words you say here, the exact words what the people would be heard."

As expected, Kiba didn't receive any response from Grim Draigh. That gave him thought this man was a wise adventurer. However, he didn't stop as he fetched a follow-up question.

"Grim Draigh, what it does feel that everyone knows about you? And the other adventurers admired you?" He had a malicious smile on his face. Knowing getting some words from Grim Draigh would be a big scope in the VR world neither the real world.

Yumiro couldn't complete his words as 6 bulk adventurers wearing a black suit intervened in the scene.

"Eh? Why the bouncers are here?" He asked himself, also it was the exact details on how he going describe those men.

"Direct interview and harassing a certain adventurer is a serious violation. So all the adventurers should leave them at once." A bulk bald man wearing black eyeglasses ordered them.

While on the other hand, a man with green hair and an average physique assisting Hippie to get away from the other adventurers.

Then unexpectedly all the adventurers leave the place at once even Kiba. Since based on their attire, they know those guys were the guard in the Guild selection.

10 minutes had passed, the place was already calmed. So Yumiro fell to the ground and sighed with relief.

"Sheesh! Who are they?" Grim asked himself once again, yet the bald bulk man answered him.

"Grim Draigh, you shouldn't walk in the obvious place like this." He said in a polite tone.

Yumiro blinking his red eyes in confusion. "Eh? Can I ask who are you? I didn't know if I meet you somewhere."

The balk man snickered, then called the other man as they formed a vertical line. "Sorry for the late introduction, Grim Draigh. We are the Premium Guards in the Guild selection. I'm Sature, the first premium guards."

Hippie and Grim seemed to understand the situation. As they nodded at once.

"Is that so... What are you doing in this kind of place." Grim initiated a conversation, as he wondered what their true job was in the Guild selection.

"We are just roaming the area to lessen all the threats that might happen in the Guild selection. And you wanted to know why we get here? We spotted the hundreds gathered in the same place, we know there's the main reason behind it."

Yumiro nodded as he agreed with Sature's words. "Okay, but we need to leave. Thanks for your help." He said and turned. "Let's go, Hippie. Asarki is waiting for us."

She nodded, then pushed herself into a stood-up position. "Thank you, Mr. Sature."

Yet, Sature won't allow them to leave the place easily. "It's dangerous for both of you to walk in this place just like a natural adventurer. Grim is popular right now, so the same scene will happen once you just walk straight there."

It caught Yumiro's attention, so he whirled around and said. "What we needed to do?"

"Let us escort you to your destination. To avoid any commotion that might happen." Sature responded nonchalantly.

"Hmm... I'm not in the right position to refuse your help. Then, okay." He replied.

"It's our gratitude to help an adventurer like you. But, where's your destination?" Sature asked.

"In the mid-realm."
