The Adventurer System

The exact number of black rabbits that were surrounded them was 12 monsters in total. Yet, the main problem here those monsters were utilizing different kinds of weapons. While some of them could regulate magical skills that Grim's group still didn't have any idea.

In an instant, the 2 black rabbits in 32 meters distance suddenly released perilous arrows. Its accuracy and sharpness could stab a certain adventurer who wearing level 1 armor.

[Percify] - This skill could increase the adventurers' toughness from the monsters' attack by 12%. And added 9.5% to the base agility.

And all of sudden, Asarki raised her magic staff over her head. Then, a light red magic aura appeared on her weapon as she was casting a buff.

Yumiro and Hippie received the same buff. On top of that, they were easily the changes in their bodies.

"Thank you, Asarki." Hippie said, then pulled her knife that positioned on her right waist.

[Fiercy dance!]

To stop those arrows from piercing them, Hippie charged straightforward and swung her knife upwards.

Swish!

The arrow's wooden bodies were swiftly cut. Also, some of them were scattered all over the place.

Yumiro remained standing in his position. Knowing he could dodge those arrows without any difficulties.

He smoothly rubbed his chin, then stepped back a bit. "Hmm... I think it's much better if just both of you fight them."

In his mind, even he didn't fight those monsters. He could still what were the modification in actual combat.

Asarki nodded at him and said. "Is that so...? It seems you have a big improvement when the time we left you in the Barlane dungeon."

Yumiro snickered, then sat under the huge tree. "Not really. Also, I thought you wanted to practice your skill? Hippie is a lot faster than me. So, if it is better if you use your skill at her." 

Swoosh!

Hippie slid directly to Asarki's location. "What's the matter? Why Grim is just sitting around?" She asked them in a polite tone.

"Both of you will fight. Show her what you got, Hippie." Grim answered her question, he then leaned his back on the tree.

"Don't mind him. He's just thinking a reckless idea. However, we should annihilate those monsters." Asarki said and ordered her at the same time. "I'll make the shot calls, and you're the one who will make the attack. Got it?"

Hippie cheerfully nodded at her as she felt an extreme feeling that pumping inside her chest. Not because she was with Asarki. It was because she thought Grim was started to trust her.

"I'll do that, Asarki. Leave to me all the damages."

Not to mention, Hippie was still wondered why this woman will make the shot calls? So at this point, she was eager why Grim trusted her so much.

[Fiercy sword!]

A light green light circulated on her Kobolds' knife. As she regulated her magic power to add some strength for all her attacks.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

[Barrier!]

Then suddenly, the black rabbit could utilize a magic skill to launch a rounded fire. Which made an explosion.

Boom!

Black smoke appeared on both sides of Hippie. Since she didn't anticipate those monsters would surprise her like that.

Thanks to Asarki blue barrier. Hippie didn't receive any damages as her HP bar was still 100%.

"Thanks, Asarki," Hippie said and slowly took a glance at her. 'Why her eyes are gleaming?' She uttered to her mind and at the same time lost her focus to their opponents.

Asarki easily noticed it, so she approached her. "You should not dart your eyes at me? It's better if you focus them on those monsters."

Hippie moved a bit as her mind back in its original state. "Yeah, I'm sorry."

Afterward, the 8 remaining monsters that seemed to be specialized in close combat immediately charged to their locations along with their aggressive eyes.

Swoosh!

Hippie dashing left and right, so the monsters couldn't anticipate where she will attack first. And as soon as the monster's spears would stab her neck. She hardly swayed her left hand.

Thud!

A spear that had a wooden handle was whirling around in the mid-air. Yet, Hippie used that opening to slash the monster's arms.

Swish! Swish!

Green blood splashes on the lively ground and eventually, the arm fell.

Thud!

Rawr!

The monster loudly screamed as the severe pain seemed would kill its existence. "I'm not done." Hippie murmured and dashed at the monster's back.

Since she had extraordinary speed, those monsters couldn't catch up with her.

[Berlin dagger!]

That green light on her knife easily changed to the violet one. When the moments her skill was complete. Hippie brutally stabbed the monster's back.

Swish! Swish!

The monster's eyes turned into a full white and the aggressive adventurer easily figured it out. She hardly kicked the monster, so she could move at the other monsters who already surrounded her.

Thud!

[Percify!]

As soon as Hippie landed on the ground, Asarki cast a buff skill again. "3 monsters on the left side are heading to us. Two of them holding poisonous swords and the next one had keen claws." She warned her.

Hippie glimpsed at that place, but she just saw the high bushes. So she raised her shoulders and asked her.

"What are you talking about--?" She didn't complete her words as after a few seconds the monsters appeared.

"I suggest if you take down first the monster that just using its claws. Remember, it's not wielding any kind of weapon so expected it much faster than the others." She explained while focusing her eyes on the monsters.

Hippie agreed with her. "Yes, I'll keep it in my mind." After those words, she dashed once again.

Swish!

She leaped into the mid-air, then pushed her knife on the middle of her chest. However, the monsters were already anticipated her attack as she consumed some time in the air.

Under her, the monster already swung its right claw while the two monsters waited for her to back down.

She frowned her brows. Knowing she will by that attack. Although the monster could kill her still that was a reckless plan.

Swoosh!

But suddenly, a woman with green short hair stabbed the monster's chest.    

Swish!

It fell to the ground as Asarki aimed its core, she then spin around along with the knife keen knife.

Swish! Swish!

More blood splashes. Since Asarki attacked the monsters' legs so they would stumble and didn't use their weapons at Hippie.

Two monsters were loudly groaned and couldn't help to lose their swords. Aside from that, Hippie lost her focus again as she was watching how this Cleric moves.

Bam! Bam!

She rolled to the ground many times and received some scratches as there were some sharps stones on the ground.

[Healing!]

"What the heck, who really this woman? How she can heal me while fighting those monsters?" Hippie asked herself while blinking her in surprise.

Swish! Swish!

Another monster took them down and their lives vanished from the VR world.

"How long do you plan to sit around, Hippie?" Asarki asked her while having a serious expression on her face.

She was dumbfounded as Hippie figured out how far stronger Asarki was than her. Yet, she uncontrollably shook her head and said.

"This is the woman who always yelling at Grim. No, no, no. This is not the right time to ponder, I should finish those monsters."

She regained her consciousness and the battle between the monsters and the young women adventurers continued.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

10 minutes had passed, Hippie was lying on the golden-brown ground and having heavily breathing.

"I-It's harder than I-I thought. My arms are numb." She was panting while seeing Asarki was completely fine. As she started to have a conversation with Grim. "Those two adventurers are unbelievable. I need to get stronger."

Asarki stood up at the young man who sat under the huge tree. Her browns eyes say that she wanted to fight more monsters.

"Hmm... Asarki, why are you worried about the Guild selection? Based on what I witnessed I could tell you performed well." He complimented her.

"Phew! Thank you, Grim. I just feel tense because millions of adventurers would watch us."

Yumiro pushed himself into a stood-up position and patted his butt. "Is that so? I think you're good. However, what you can tell about Hippie?"

Asarki gently rubbed her fairy chin. "Hmm, she's fast just like what you said, and also a strong swordsman. However, her problem is her focusness because I discovered her mind went to another place while she was fighting. And she's also like you that always making a reckless idea that didn't think what is the casualties."

Yumiro knitted his forehead. "Oh, that's a problem. She needs to work with that right now."

It caught Asarki's attention so she asked him. "Eh? What are you planning for her?"

"I think it's better if we let her join in our expedition? What do you think?"
