The Adventurer System

Before Naito leaped into the mid-air, a red magic circle appeared under his tread. At the time that he was passing through the air along with his golden shield. And orange light transpired all over his body.

Even though Grim was standing from afar. He could feel the intense heat-releasing by Naito's body.

"Jeez! This is bad! Screen." Yumiro used the function screen and ordered Asarki to get away from the place. "Get out the place! There's something with that attack--"

Boom!

A strong explosion occurred. It shook the whole Eratic desert and they could the ground crumbling.

On top of that, Naito standing in the middle of the wildfire.. Since he was the caster of the skill, he didn't take any damages.

Viper and Darius were also shocked at that skill. In their mind, that skill should use in the finals.

"Leader Naito, what you've done? You should save that skill." Viper confronted him.

Naito took a glance at Viper with his furious eyes. "I don't care with that skill, Viper. We're facing a tough opponent. In order to win this fight, we should eliminate those girls at once." He said with a serious tone.

Viper sharply exhaled. Knowing he can't do anything to stop their leader. "Hais... Fine. I'm respecting your decision."

Darius took out his reaper, then slightly bent his knees. "Move away, leader Naito. I must guarantee those girls are already eliminated from this match."

[Flying scythe!]

After the blue magic circle came out, there was blue light passing through his reaper. He positioned his weapon beside him, then strongly release a keen blade.

Swish!

Inside the thick dust where the wildfire couldn't reach. Darius targeted it without any hesitation.

Boom!

Another explosion arose, and you could tell it was strong enough to eliminate those adventurers.

"Darius, you put a show, isn't it? However, you can conserve your energy right now. I'll kill that man for Zico and Annie." Viper said, then shrugged his shoulders.

5 minutes had passed, and because of the intense heat was given by the place. None of the two parties decided to attack.

Yet, Grim was shocked after seeing the condition of Asarki and Hippie. Although, they were not totally eliminated from the match since Asarki managed to put up a barrier to protect them. Still, they received severe wounds all over their bodies. Also a deep cut on Asarki's chest.

It looked like, she received the attack to lessen the damage Hippie could receive. And even she was wearing armor, it wasn't enough to absorb those damages.

Swoosh!

His eyelids were widened as he saw Naito would attack those two without making any second thoughts.

From 92 meters distance with them, Yumiro reached the place in exactly 5 seconds. In his mind, he promised no one would hurt as long he was around. So at this point, he was working with his promise.

Clang!

The sound of the metal that bumped into each other was perceived by their ears. As Grim used his Sipad boots to intercept this bulk man.

Viper was looking around as he didn't anticipate. The masked guy would vanish from his watch. "What the hell! How he could go there!"

[Dark speed!]

To increase his speed for an assassin like him. He used his agility to skill, so he could give a backup with their leader. As Naito barely stepped back after he received the kick.

"Inventory!" Yumiro took 5 potions and gave them to Hippie. "Hippie, give it to her and leave this place right now. As long as you can fight, you're not eliminated from this match. Assist Asarki to recover and after that help me here."

Hippie nodded her head at him, then gave the three potions to Asarki. "Yes, Grim. Please, take over this job for us."

A green light occurring on Asarki's body. Then eventually, recovered some of her strength. "Tch! That's painful. I feel the blade cutting my flesh. Ouch!"

Since those potions were just low-grade potions. All the deep wounds Asarki received were still here and at the same time, it affected her mobility.

"Asarki, back out of here. I see enough with your skills. I could tell those are the best performances I could see." Grim said while initiating his fighting stance.

Asarki bowed her head without showing any expression on her face. "Sorry, Grim. I can't continue to fight like this."

"Yeah, I understand. Leave everything to me what we are always doing." Yumiro responded nonchalantly, and barely lifted his head. "Hippie, leave the place right now. I'll stop them. 

Hippie nodded and would try to leave the place. However, Viper will not easily let them as he heard their conversations.

"You think, you can escape with me? No, no, no." Viper said, then fully swung his knife.

Clang!

Viper was stunned when he saw the masked guy used his metallic boots to block his quick attack.

"Shit! What is this? How he could become so fast?" Viper murmured and tried to push him back by using all of his strength. But still, he can't move him even an inch.

"What's going on? I thought you're going to stop them?" Yumiro mocked him a bit, then rotated his downward as he using his scorpion kick.

Thud!

Viper responding time had been affected. As he seemed to reply with Grim's word, so it was the main reason why he was late to see the masked man's attack.

With the outstanding Yumiro gave. Viper loosened the strength of his knees as he sent meters away from his current position. Along with some blood spilling out of his mouth.

"Now, Hippie!" Yumiro hastily ordered her.

[Fiery dance!]

While her feet were gleaming. Hippie carried Asarki out of this place as this woman did all the jobs to control this fight.

Swoosh!

Although her fatigue was slowly decreasing because of the intense heat given by the Eratic desert. Still, she decided to make kilometers distance from the battlefields.

"Asarki, did you think Grim could win that fight?" Hippie asked her since even they were already in a critical situation. She still looked calm.

"Of course, Hippie. Once you bring me to a safe place, fight his match. Grim is still not showing his true power." Asarki talking about the ability of Grim to transform.

"No, I won't leave you. This is a clear task from Grim, I mustn't fail this job. Beside you trusted him so I'll believe in you." Hippie replied while having heavily breathing.

On the other side, Yumiro was relieved after Hippie and Asarki disappeared from his eyes sight.

Moreover, the battle between Asarki's party and Naito's party become 1v3. Which made three of them feel insulted.

Viper wiped the blood on his lips and spit something out his mouth. "Phew!" He was paused for a second as he saw his front teeth dropped to the surface.

"You... How dare you to destroy my handsome face." Viper angrily said.

Yet, he didn't any response from Grim. As he won't like someone will distract his focus.

In front of him was the aggressive opponent and releasing tremendous magical power all over their bodies.

"Are looking down on us?" Naito asked him.

[Cocoto shield!]

And all of a sudden, multiple keen blades appeared on his golden shield. At this juncture, if someone attack attack his shield the attacker would the one who'll receive the damage.

"I guess you're terrified right now. Since you don't want to talk." Naito said and turned around. "We'll attack that masked guy at once. After him, we'll chase those girls."

Viper and Darius nodded at him.

Swoosh!

At the exact time, Viper started the fight by dashing straight forward.

[Shadow blade!]

A black aura was released by his knife. "Once you hit by this. It is the end." Viper said as this skill was inflicted by a poison that could paralyze his opponent.

Yumiro slightly bent his body, then cast skill he wanted to use.

[Berserk!]

In an instant, Grim's existence vanished from their watch. As no one in Naito's group could perfectly was him.

[Jumping axe kick!]

From behind, Grim leaped into the mid-air with a flashy pace. He then raised his left foot to the same level as his head.

Grim targeted first the opponent who cluelessly responded when he disappeared. It was Darius that not caring his reaper properly. 

Thud!

His blade foot directly landed on the middle of Darius's head. Which made him form his tears in the corner of his eyes.

"Fuck!"

Darius swung his blade to the side where the last time he saw the masked guy.

Swish!

However, he just sliced the air as Grim already switched his position.

From beyond, Yumiro swung his left arm upwards. Then gave him a strong uppercut directly on Darius's chin.

Thud!

Darius barely elevated to the air as the masked guy's power pushed him. "W-Wait a moment."

At this point, Yumiro was savvy Darius couldn't do anything to dodge the attack. So he pulled the Kariki knife and stabbed him directly on his heart.

Swoosh!

In just a second, Darius turned into red particles as he got back from the stadium. However, no one could notice Grim used an elemental knife as he quickly hid it back in the inventory.

"Two more to go? Let's end this. Shall we?"
