The Adventurer System

Fumigo the number 9 NPC was looking at the middle-aged man who wore golden armor and a red cape.

"Asamiya, do you have any idea why Grim Draigh became a dual-class adventurer?" Fumigo asked him inside the darkroom and where the lights mildly touched them.

Learning two classes also mastering each one of them isn't simple. Only talented adventurers could do it.

Asamiya looked shocked by these words. As he was wondering how the clueless adventurer before knew to regulate two classes at the early stage of his career in the virtual world.

To be honest, any adventurer could receive different classes. But, it was possible once you become level 80 adventurers. That process was cold "Rebirth" Where your level would back to zero but your current stats were still there.

"How did you found out, Fumigo?" Asamiya responded, then clicked his fingers..

His hands were coated by the blue magical light, and eventually, a man appeared on the screen. 

"He showed me his character's template..." Fumigo said with a confused expression. "Asamiya, do you know how it becomes possible? Because based on the information that I have, his level will never be eligible to promote to dual-class."

Asamiya slowly shook his head. "I don't have any idea, Fumigo. However, we need to investigate this. It must be it's a game bug or his zexel."

Fumigo barely nodded his head at him, as he agreed with Asamiya's suggestion. "Is that what I'm trying to say..." He paused for a second and added. "Yet, what kind of investigation we'll conduct? It's bad for us if we are the ones who'll do it."

Asamiya smoothly rubbed his chin, then darted his eyes on the ceiling. "Yeah, you're right. Do you have any idea?"

"I'm thinking about this after I saw his template. What if we hire an adventurer that'll tag along with Grim?" Fumigo suggested.

Asamiya raised his brows, at the same time, thinking the downside of this plan. "It's a great idea, but how we can assure that they wouldn't reveal us."

"Don't think too much, Asamiya. No one would open their mouth once we give them an exact penny they wanted." Fumigo said while having a malicious smile on his face.

"Is that so...? Okay, I'll let you find an adventurer who would like to do the job. But make sure no one will know about us." Asamiya responded nonchalantly.

Fumigo nodded once again. "Rest assured, Asamiya. You already know I'm always perfectly doing my job."

Back in the spacious stadium, the crowds were cheering for those adventurers participating in the guild selection.

The 5v5 valor match-up continued along with the thoughts the strongest guild would pick new outstanding members.

In 148 adventurers only 15 teams will head to the next stage of this event. So no one could blame them if they all out their strength just to win this fight.

The sunset was nearly to expire, but there was a remaining match.

Ding!

Everyone got wind of the bell rang, meaning another fight was ended.

"Oi! Oi! Oi! That's an intense match! But don't leave yet. Because we're having a new interesting match between Fredericka's party and Raizen's party. The current number 5 rookie on the leaderboards.

All the audience that attempted to leave the place, starting to get back on their seats. As it seemed, they wanted to know how the number 5 rookie will win this fight.

"Stay back on your seat and don't forget to breathe! This is our last match for this day, so I hope everyone could enjoy it!"

The guild leaders were still patiently watching the match, even though some of them already picked new adventurers.

Fredericka was a woman who had shining blue hair, blacks eyes, and wearing silver-plated armor that had a blue lining in all the edges. Not to mention, she belonged to the swordsman class, which means she specialized in close combat.

Fredericka's party consisted of all aggressive women and called themselves Amazona.

Cyra level 27 cleric, Aira level 27 tank, Malice level 26 mage, and Diana level 26 fighter.

Don't let your eyes be deceived by their beautiful faces. Because behind their angelic face, there was a monster was hiding.

Their opponent was Kaizen's party, the current number 5 rookie adventurer. He had short black hair, black eyes, and wearing white armor. He was a level 29 swordsman.

Behind him, Aisa level 27 cleric, Gord level 29 tank, Koofer level 26 gunner, and Nexus level 28 assassin.

For the audience, it's a good match since both party leaders had the same class. That means, they'll see a lot of head-to-head combat.

"Let's start the final match!" Gino yelled to them, and after he spits those words. He exhausted sat on his seat. "Hais... I'm really tired. This is the first day of the event but why do I feel this is the final day...?"

Both parties entered the orange portal, in the place where the settings were still the same. It looked like, this fighting place was specifically made for this year's event.

Kaizen distance within Fredericka was 100 meters. It was close enough to see their each current locations. 

"Don't let yourself fool by this woman. We're not here to lose, we're here to stand out and rid all the adventurers who'll block our path." Kaizen reminded his party members.

All of them nodded their head at once. "Yes!"

On the other side, Fredericka planning to initiate the first attack. So their opponent couldn't easily respond.

"Everyone, listen. We'll stick to our plan and we must play this match much aggressively than them." Fredericka said, then started to charge.

[Holy Blessing!]

While dashing Cyra used her magic skill to give a buff to her party member at once. By casting this skill, it could enhance the toughness of their bodies and minimize the damage they might receive.

A golden light appeared on her witch wand, then regulated the aura to them.

Swish!

In an instant, Fredericka's confidence was added by this buff skill. At the same time, it emerged in their bodies.

Bang!

Aira heard a wild gunshot, she stepped into the frontline so she could block the attack coming from the gunner.

Clang!

Aira succeeded to deflect the bullet from passing to their members. "Don't worry, those bullets will never hit you as long as I'm here." She confidently said.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Koofer continued to fire his gun, however, just like what Aira said. None of those bullets penetrated to them.

Koofer clicked his tongue. "Tch! Their defense is tough. Yet, I don't think you could block this one."

[Weaponary change!]

Koofer's pistol changed into a sniper that had a 10% penetration effect.

Aira was surprised by the occurrence, nevertheless, it wasn't enough to stop her domination from blocking their attacks.

Bang!

The woman in her behind closed their eyes, as loud shot perceived by their lovely ears.

[Double Hardening!]

Then suddenly her metallic shied added a new barrier that helped her to increase her defensive power.

Clang!

Boom!

A massive explosion transpired after Koofer's magical bullets touched Aira's shield. It shook the place and blew sand into the air.

Every single sand that touched their skin, they felt there was an ant biting them.

"Gotcha!" Koofer turned around and asked Kaizen. "Do you think they can survive with that kind of attack?"

"I'm not sure, but get back to your position. We'll start to attack." After Kaizen spit those words, he charged in the place where thick dust surrounded it.

[Eagle slash!]

His speed increased instantly while the blue magical light pouring into his thin keen thin blade.

Swish!

At the exact distance, Kaizen fully swung his right arm and released the flying blade directly to Fredericka's location.

Boom!

Another explosion transpired and the cape they were wearing was blowing away because of so much force.

[Wind Storm!]

And all of a sudden, Kaizen's party hurriedly stepped back to their current location. As a strong magical power was gathering inside the thick dust.

"Retreat!"

Swoosh!

Malice released her magic skill and made their opponents separated from each other. "Fredericka attack now!"

It looked like, Malice used her magic skill to give them away to attain closer distance to their opponents.

Swoosh!

After hearing Malice's words, Fredericka swiftly dashed in the middle. Then darted her eyes to the cleric.

"I should eliminate you first."

[Teleporting sword!]

Fredericka swung her sword in front of her, and within 50 meters of distance. Her blade just landed on Aisa's shoulder as Gord already glimpsed into it.

Swish!

Red blood splashes in the air, and you could see Aisa was hurt by that attack. "I apologize, Aisa. I didn't anticipate her attack could be like that." Gord murmured to her.

"You don't need to apologize, it's my fault I lowered my guard." Aisa responded along with her shivering arms.

[Healing!]

To close the wound, she cast her healing spell. And got back her health power to its original state.

"Everyone we need to get serious. These adventurers aren't easy to deal with."
