Chapter 224 - Hinabi The Number Four Guard

[Dark meteorite!]

Madness used her magic skill, and the entire area darkened as a dim violet magic circle appeared above him.

The extreme heat was occurring while everyone was anticipating the meteorite's impact.

Swish!

After seeing Roshy slash Madness's neck with his katana just as he was about to release the skill, the place suddenly brightened up again.

"Uh-oh, I'm already anticipating this. Pay attention to your other opponent the next time." Roshy said with a malicious grin on his face.

Madness' head began to disintegrate into red particles and eventually blew up in mid-air. Madness was easily eliminated from the match despite not demonstrating her true abilities.

"End this fight, Kaiyo. We're taking our time here." Roshy gave him the order, then stomped the remaining body of Madness until it was completely gone.

Even though Kaiyo's attack had weakened Ruckus, he was still upset about what Roshy had done to their party leader.

"Youuu!" Ruckus threw his lance directly at Roshy without much thought.

Swish!

However, Kaiyo intercepted him and easily killed Ruckus, removing him from the match. "As long as I'm standing in front of you, you can't touch her."

The Tank and the Gunner were the only remaining members of Madness, but they decided to withdraw from this match because Kaiyo was dominating them.

[Kaiyo's party wins!]

The adventurers were watching the fight and concluded that Madness's party would undoubtedly win. However, the outcome was not as expected.

"Who is that wolf? He attacked each of their opponents one by one."

"You forgot to mention the blond woman, whose fire was consuming the entire area. Also, the primary reason Madness stopped casting her skill."

Madness was well-known in the VR world due to the magical power she unleashed in each expedition.

Back on the Nefas Dungeon, an hour had easily passed, but he had encountered no monsters.

"Where was the monster earlier? Also, where has the Queen gone? Before I can leave this place, I need to complete my quest." He stated in hushed tones as he passed through the tunnel that he had no idea how long it would be.

The Queen posed the most serious threat to his expedition inside the dungeon. Because this type of monster possessed such great magical power that you could detect it just by looking at it.

Ring...Ring...Ring...Ring...Ring...Ring...Ring

And then, out of nowhere, someone called Grim using the system function. "Why is she calling at this time? What does she require from me?"

[Decline the call!]

Ring...Ring...Ring...Ring...Ring...Ring...Ring

Yumiro sighed in frustration because this woman, in his opinion, didn't know how to surrender.

[Accept the call!]

A mini-screen appeared in front of him, and he noticed Yuki staring at him with teary eyes.

"Where have you gone, Brother Grim? Please return here..."

"Grim, Yuki is on the lookout for you. And I see that this is the only way I can reach you, so I'll call you. I apologize for not inquiring about your permission." Hippie said this politely.

Grim didn't seem to mind her words, as he just focused his gaze on Yuki. "Yuki, why are you crying? Just relax for a moment, I'll be right back."

"I'm sorry, Grim, I just wanted to see you. Where have you gone? Can we go there?" Yuki suggested, her eyes telling her she wanted to go to Grim's location.

Grim smirked, trying to think of a way to explain why Yuki couldn't go in such danger. "Uh-Eh..." It was difficult for him to spit the words out of his mouth as long as he was staring at Yuki's eyes for too long.

"Grim has an important business right now, Yuki. If you force him to return here, I don't think it's a good idea." Asarki stated before gently patting Yuki's head.

"I promise, Yuki, we'll go outside once I get back there." Grim stated with an uneasy smile on his face.

Yuki's face lit up when she heard these words. "Brother Grim, are you serious? I'd like to return to the beach and bring a lot of food." Yuki said cheerfully, as she was excited to do so among the adventurers around him.

"No problem, Yuki, as long as you're content." Grim said this as he heard a suspicious sound not far away. "I'll end this call, Yuki; be a good girl there."

"Yes, Grim, I'll be a good girl and wait for you to return."

Yumiro had already seen the magical crystal's light, but he couldn't pinpoint its exact location. So he kept walking until he came to a door in the middle of two magical crystals.

He gulped his saliva, knowing that every time he walked through this type of door, something new happened.

"Is there another door? Really, in this place?" He said this as he walked towards it.

First, he examined the door, which appeared to be made of tough metal components. Grim felt nothing special with it as he rubbed his hand into it slowly.

"Hmm... It's like any other door in the real world, but I can't rule out the possibility of a powerful monster lurking inside." He muttered to himself before turning around. "Hais... I almost walked for an hour; going back there would be a waste of time."

He checked his function screen and saw that his health power was back to 100 percent and that he needed 500 experience points to level up again.

"I don't have a choice; I must continue." Yumiro put his hands on the door and gently pushed it open.

Bam!

He averted his gaze as he was taken aback by the overabundance of light in the room. "What exactly is this?"

As soon as his vision was restored to its original state. He noticed a magical orb suspended from the ceiling. Also, the location drew his attention because it was surrounded by gold and treasure items.

"No! No! No! I can buy anything with this, and I can also sell it online for real money." Grim said greedily, intending to delve deeper into it.

Grim's eyes widened when he noticed the ground was heavily crumbled while holding the golden boots.

Shook!

Everything he saw right now appeared to be an illusion from which anyone could fall.

"No, it's a ruse! Where did it come from?" He darted his eyes left and right as he fell in the darkness and noticed gleaming violet eyes on the right side of him.

[Bazooka fire!]

Grim was taken aback when he saw the high magical power in front of him. Aside from that, he was in an excellent position to avoid the attack. So he simply donned his red cape and crossed his fire.

Boom!

Grim had the sensation that he was falling into the sinkhole and that the extreme heat was touching all over his body.

"No, did I fool someone?"

Another explosion occurred, causing the entire environment to shake and some parts of the wall to fall directly to Grim.

....

Grim was buried inside the dungeon wall after 10 minutes. "Shit! Where did that talent come from?!" He yelled angrily, then used his great physical strength to tear down all the walls around him.

Thud!

He noticed his back in the place where he fought the red Minotaur after the wall shattered. "No way, no how! How am I going to get back here, huh, huh, This is vexing."

Grim pushed himself into a standing position, then dashed into a different location because he saw a follow-up attack coming at him.

[Bazooka fire!]

It was passed to him, and the explosion happened on his backside. "Tch! How can they cast such a powerful skill?"

It appeared that the monster in front of him pushed him to return to this location in order for him to find the exact location of the Queen.

"You have the opportunity to kill him, according to Aper. But just by looking at you, I can tell you're capable of inflicting even minor damage on me."

When he heard a small voice from behind him, he turned to look at it because he was irritated by these words. However, he couldn't see anything other than the vast space and the magical crystal that surrounded them.

"What happened to it-?"

"I'm not there, stupid!" A creature mocked him again, but this time it revealed its true form.

It had blue skin, stood one meter tall, and held a large scroll that appeared to be used to regulate high magical power.

"What exactly are you?! And who exactly is Aper?!" Grim does not appear surprised every time he sees a creature with the ability to communicate.

"Oh, well, well. I'm Queen Hinabi's number four guard. And Aper is the red Minotaur you must defeat."

He already had an idea where this came from after Hinabi explained everything. Yumiro, on the other hand, was the type of person who didn't like to wait, and he charged toward Hinabi while enhancing his physical strength.

[Physical transmission!]
