The Adventurer System

The Queen of the Nefas Dungeon used both a light orb and a dark magic skill. Each skill contained such a high level of magical power that an ordinary adventurer couldn't stand a chance against it.

[Lightning orb!]

A magical circle appeared, indicating that the Queen's skill was not ordinary. The golden light was concentrating in her grasp, sucking in everything that was closer to it.

"Shit! This is bad, how I'm supposed to be able to avoid this type of attack?" Yumiro was perplexed, and he wore a worried expression.

"Human! You! Why did you murder my beloved bodyguard?" The Queen, who had a lovely face, was eager to murder him. And based on her appearance, she could be between the ages of 27 and 30.

At this point, Yumiro had no choice but to remove one of his cores from his inventory. "The red Minotaur's body had a high defense; if I used this, I might be able to withstand this Queen's attack."

[Core devourer skill activate!]

He bit and chewed the red crystal without a second thought. His ears heard the sound of candy biting inside your mouth, and all of a sudden, a red light coated his entire body as the modification took effect.

Despite her confusion at the occurrence, the Queen swung her arm and directly released her high-level magical power at the adventurer's precise location.

"Even if you pull out everything you think you'll survive? You'll still leave this world sooner or later!" Queen screamed angrily as she noticed the golden rounded light speeding towards Grim.

The explosion occurred as soon as the light orb made contact, and it shook the entire area. Furthermore, Queen appeared pleased as she believed she had already killed the human who had also killed her red Minotaur.

"I allowed you to leave this place, human! But you continue to fight me." She spun around, wondering the guards who were protecting the other floors.

They need to get rid of the other adventurer who entered this dungeon, she thinks. They looked around and wiped out all the monsters that existed here.

The Queen detected the other party raid adventurers using vast mana. Her mana had such a wide range that she could detect anything with mana within a 2km radius. Furthermore, she had ruled this dungeon for too long, which meant she could tell if someone entered as they had a different magical aura.

[Heaven's wrath]

She gathered a powerful magical power once more to ensure that she ended the human's life. Then, a dark cloud appeared above the thick some, and it appeared that it would release a powerful electric current at any time.

"You didn't deserve to be here!" The electric current from the dark cloud was released as she swung her arms downwards.

Boom!

Another explosion occurred, scattering shards of the gleaming surface all over the place.

She could feel the human's dark mana being released, so she frowned her brows, knowing that the human was still alive.

[Wind!]

The Queen used wind magic to blow away the smoke that was obstructing her vision.

Her eyelids widened as she noticed a fearless creature standing in front of her. However, she appeared enraged as she realized this human was using the body of her favorite guard.

Grim had transformed into a masculine body with a dark horn on his forehead, red eyes, and dark color all around him, and he had grown 1 meter taller.

"You used Amper's body to receive all of the damage I dealt you." She clenched her teeth and looked around, as if looking for something. "Human, where is the core?! I'll resurrect him!"

The Queen appeared to be capable of resurrecting any creature using high-level magic. But was this even possible in this game?

Yumiro displayed the red crystal in his hand, his teeth shaped into it, making the Queen even more eager to kill him.

He raised his left hand, despite the severe damage he had taken from that type of attack. In his mind, if he was late in casting the [core devourer] skill, he had most likely already vanished from this game. Aside from that, the red Minotaur did have a high defense and magic resistance.

[Core devourer skill mastered!]

After scanning his elevated screen quickly, he removed all the tabs so he could face the Queen.

"Why did you annihilate that core?! Please give it to me!" Queen was tenacious in her pursuit of Amper's core.

In her mind, even though this human had already destroyed some parts of the core, she could quickly resurrect Amper's body.

"Give it to me!"

[Dark binding spell!]

The Queen lost her patience and charged straight at Grim, casting binding magic to bind him in a specific position.

[Tentacles of darkness!]

Under his feet, a magical circle appeared. And then, out of nowhere, slimy octopus hands arose from it, intending to hold him while the Queen wielded a new tremendous skill.

Yumiro, on the other hand, was well aware of it, as he took the Grete sword and swung it at the octopus hands at the same time.

Swish!

When he set free his feet, he used the mobility skill he acquired from the speed star rabbit.

[Speed star dash!]

He moved away because he couldn't anticipate what a certain skill will the Queen release at this time.

"I have no clue, this monster could use different sort type of magical elements. On top of that, I have a great feeling once the octopus's tentacles touch me, it will suck my blood and drain my health power little by little." He muttered while seeing the Queen casting her skill 17 meters away from the human.

[Earth thorn!]

Within the 8 meters distance, a brown magic circle appeared, then the ground suddenly moved and transformed into a sharp one. It was perilously heading at him.

He stopped from sliding back and said. "I just continue receiving this type of attack if I'm going to run away, I have to do something." His feet touch the wall again, but this time he was facing the magic skill given by the opponent.

[Dual spinning kick!]

In the right distance and with the bulk body, Yumiro spun at 360° and kicked the flat part of the sharp earth.

Thud! Thud!

Yumiro successfully destroyed it, then gently fell to the ground. "What is this? I have felt more physical power at the time I used the Minotaur's body."

He charged at the Queen that looked bothered as he attained so much distance. "Y-Yeah, that's right. This monster is specialized in using terrifying skills, so it means it can't fight in close combat." He uttered to his mind, his legs were gleaming as he was transmitted his strength on it.

[Physical transmission!]

[Dash!]

In an instant, Grim appeared in front of her. And the Queen was shocked as she didn't expect this human could manage to become fast like this.

[Wall!]

At that very moment, Queen used a high wall to stop the human from coming in. However, Grim just wrecked it and penetrated inside of it.

"Moved back!"

Casting high-level magic would eat a lot of time so in Queen's certain position the only thing she could cast was a basic skill.

[Fire ball!]

She tried to stop him, but he had magic resistance to accept her magic skill. "I'll quickly end this!"

[Berserk!]

In just one second, Grim was granted so much physical power that even the Queen was looked terrified and trembling.

[Jumping axe kick!]

He jumped to the mid-air that no one could notice, his speed wasn't the same as it couldn't see with just ordinary eyes.

The Queen was looking left and right, but she can't find the human location. So she didn't hesitate to cast the strongest she had right now.

[Ultimate Shadow-]

Thud!

Grim stopped her as his foot blade was directly landed on the Queen's head and blood burst out of it.

Bam!

The Queen was unconscious, at the same time, fell to the ground. Yet, Grim sat over her body while still casting the [Berserk skill!]

"She's still alive, I need to end this before the monsters come to this location!"

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Grim kept punching the Queen's head and didn't care even some blood splashes on his face. "You're so strong! You gain my respect! You're the first-ever monster possibly could do that to me!"
