The Adventurer System

Amiya and Yumiro were eating their breakfast quietly.

"How's the letter, Amiya?" he asked, slowly chewing his food.

"I'm still waiting for a response, brother Yumiro; it's been a day since I returned the letter," she said, then sat in front of him.

"There's no doubt in my mind that you'll be chosen by that businessman," he said, encouraging her. "Don't worry, Amiya; they'll be standing in front of our door tomorrow."

"Thank you so much, brother Yumiro," she said with a smile. Once I started to work at him we'll find the best doctor in the world to cure your legs."

He paused for a second as he remembered the excruciating pain he was experiencing. 'If I said that to her, I'd just add to Amiya's problems.'

"What's going on, Brother Yumiro? Why are you dumbfounded there? I just said we'll find the best doctor to cure your legs," Amiya said, gradually waving her hand.

As he awoke from her words, he was blinking. "Yeah, Amiya, I'd like to try to make some money by collecting rare items in order to help you."

Amiya's eyes shifted as she remembered something. "Hmm... Brother Yumiro, I noticed your screen name appeared on my view screen recently."

He rubbed the back of his neck uncomfortably and said. "Hehe, Amiya, I'm just lucky."

She took a deep breath and looked at him suspiciously. "Brother, why don't we go on an expedition today? I just want to see how you fight."

Yumiro was under her sister's full scrutiny this time. Grim Draigh, as the screen name suggests, has always completed the various perilous quests on his own.

Yumiro, on the other hand, had already made a promise to Yuki. So he felt bad about turning down her sister's invitation. "I-I'm sorry, Amiya, but I think I'll decline your invitation," he stuttered.

She slightly raised her brows. She didn't expect her brother's decision. "Eh? Why brother? Do you have something to do?" 

He was unsure nodded his head at her. "Yes, Amiya, I promise to Yuki that I'll bring her to the plaza today."

She rubbed her chin smoothly. "Is that so... No problem, brother Yumiro. We can have an expedition next time."

"For sure. I'm looking forward to that day." He said.

The siblings finished eating their delicious breakfast.

"How about you, Amiya? What's your plan today?" Yumiro asked her with a stolid expression.

"I think, I'll focus on the guild selection-" She paused for several seconds, as she noticed it was already 9:00 am. "Wait, brother Yumiro, I forgot. Our guild Captain needs me there."

Amiya quickly cleaned the table, washed the dishes. "Brother Yumiro, I'm sorry but I can leave you here?"

"Of course, Amiya, I'm also would back to my room after this."

After hearing her brother's words, she immediately went upstairs. "Thank you, brother Yumiro." She shouted.

As soon as he vanished from his eyes. He took his medicines so he could continue to play. "It's too early to play."  

After a few were minutes. He went back to his room by barely pushing the wheel. "What I should do now?"

He saw his phone placed over his pillow. "I don't have too much information about this world."

He kept scrolling, seeing tons of articles about the adventurer systems, pro players, and top players in the country.

Yumiro sent his registration without thinking too much. "Hmm... They said being a Pro player is the fastest way to earn money."

Sometimes Yumiro forgot his name as he was used to calling as Grim. 'It's still fine, right?'

Yuki did the same thing when she saw Grim. She was rubbing her face against Grim's chest. "Are we leaving, Grim?"

He gave her a nod. "Of course, you're my boss today," he said as he carried her out of the room. He did notice, however, that Asarki and Hippie were no longer moving in their places. "You two, you don't want to come with us?"

"Tell him, Hippie, you're Grim's closest friend," Asarki murmured, gently poking her with her elbow.

"Huh? Why me?" "You must, Asarki, because you've known him for a long time."

Chirla and Yuki were perplexed by their actions, prompting them to look at each other and raise their shoulders, as neither of them was aware of it. As a result, Yumiro had a good idea of what those women were up to.

"I'll give it to you later, but first let us make Yuki happy."

Asarki and Hippie exchanged a smile, knowing Grim would present them with a valuable item.

Since Yumiro didn't know the exact place they were. He used the teleportation crystal to transport them to the Capital.

"Chirla, you know where the plaza is?" He askes the cat woman standing next to him.

"Yes, adventurer Grim, but Yuki said she would like to get back at the Draven sea." She reminded him, as Grim fully thought they would go to the plaza.

"I want to swim again there." Yuki added.

At this point, Grim decided to buy delicious food in the marketplace they were brought in the sea. It took 45 minutes before they completed it.

it was exhausting but Yumiro felt glad as it was the first time he could feel something like this. "You like the vanilla ice cream, Yuki?"

She cheerfully nodded her head and smile at him. "Yes, brother Grim, this is so delicious."

"Okay, you will much enjoy it when we went right now in the sea. So let's go?"

As soon as Yuki agreed. Chirla, Yuki, Grim, Hippie, and Asarki vanished from the Adventure Capital.

Swoosh!

Yuki immediately ran towards the seashore as the seashell and birds were gathered there. "Chirla, can you watch Yuki for me?"

She nodded without making any second thoughts. "Yes, adventurer Grim, leave this kind of job at me."

Yumiro, Asarki, and Hippie were standing under the tall coconut tree.

"Grim, how do you kill the Queen?" Hippie asked him with meaningful eyes.

He shook his head along with his hands. "I don't want to talk about that. More important, we must the one who will become champion in the guild selection."

"As long as you're we can't lose to them, right, Asarki?" Hippie asked the beautiful woman next to her.

"No, Hippie, if you really watch the fight. The adventurers passed to the next stage of the event are looking tough. Not just like that, they also had chemistry and attack combo." Asarki explained.

"Hmm... If that's the case you can have this. I know it can help us to enlarge our damage. Inventory."

Yumiro took out the red horn and dropped the item he gained from the ghoul.

"I get from the Queen's both of you should be glad." The red horn was for Hippie so she could make it into a sword, while for Asarki was the Toxic Gul so she could paralyze the opponent.

"Thank you..." Both of them were lifelessly said.

Two of them thought those items were just useless, so they were still looked at the item description so Grim don't feel bad about it.

The screen appeared as the system finalized the item description.

"What the hell?! What is this Grim?!"

After the stats were revealed, Hippie and Asarki couldn't know how they were going to express their emotion.
