The Adventurer System

Chapter 242 - Party War?

In just a minute, Asarki and Grim arrived at Hippie's current place to give her a backup. Once their stones was stolen or destroyed by another party, they will declare eliminated from this match.

Yumiro was looking at the adventurers that were scattered all over the place. And he hasn't expected this kind of number.

"What is this? A war?" He asked himself under the tall tree.

Seven to eight parties had been gathered to this area, or to be simple, around seventy-five or eighty adventurers were battling each other.

He could easily enter the small cave, but he knew the casualty that he would lure the other adventurers' attention. Honestly, Yumiro could fight those adventurers at once, well savvy their party will be the main attraction if showed himself there.

He backed behind the tree, then narrowly looked at Asarki. "Hey, Asarki, call Hippie right now."

After she heard his orders, she opened the function screen without making any second thought.

It took a few moments and Hippie's face appeared on the mini screen. "Hippie, how is your situation inside?" Asarki asked him with a weak tone, so the other adventurers could not hear her.

"I'm good here, Asarki, but my problem is, the cave entrance was blocked." Hippie said, then showed the numerous stones placed on the entrance. To be exact, it was because of the adventurers' attack

Asarki deeply sighed as she knew the stones and Hippie would be safe if she continued to stay inside.

"Fine. Hippie, stay inside, and we will fight the adventurers battling outside." Grim decided and put in his mind if the situation got worst he would not hesitate to use the [Core devourer] skill.

"Cool your head a bit, Grim, we have to make a plan so we can guarantee our win with them. And remember, three parties there in the ranking that means they are tough opponents."??Asarki said.

He moved closer to her as Asarki looked had a plan for how they were fighting those adventurers. "Do you have any idea there, Asarki? If I fight them right now I can say I can win but still I will have a hard time."

Well, he was right. He must not be overconfident just because he had zexel of double attributes. His current level was 23 and you looked closer it will be equal to 46, still, adventurers here could drain his all health power by attacking him at once.??

"I have no idea, technically, I just want to play safe here." Asarki said while looking at the area.

It was unusual for him as he didn't know what Asarki trying to say. "What do you mean by playing safe? Tell to me more specifically."

"The things all I want to wait for them to finish the fight and once they're exhausted and collected the stones that are the time that we are going to attack them." She had an innocent after saying these words. Moreover, with the given strength to Grim, they could guarantee the win.

At this point, Grim realized why he needed to give a hard time to himself by fighting those adventurers? "What about the time, Asarki? What if the battle is finished and also this entire event?"

"Don't worry, Grim, I discovered that there's ranking for this match, which means not only one party could win in this event. We secure the number eight spot we have nothing to worry about." Asarki explained, then leaned her back on the thick tree and she could feel the heat that the sunlight absorbed by it.

Grim did the same thing. He tried to relax himself and watch them so he could learn something from them. Like the first time, he did this, he save a party inside the Nefas Dungeon.

Screeching of swords, blocking by the shield, enchanting of a spell, and tremendous explosion. Those were the things those adventurers did after battling in the vast forest.

Several hours had easily passed. And as expected the three parties in the rankings were left from the intense match. One you could notice, they were still not exhausted as the cleric each party replenish all the damage, fatigue, and the mana cost to them.

The place was started to get dark, but it wasn't a problem for Asarki. As she could determine the precise location of their opponents.

[We have one hour and thirty minutes before this match ends! Collect all the stones that you collect adventurers!]

Grim got alarmed after he saw the blue screen in front of them. It looked like all the remaining adventurers in this event received this notification as he also saw it to Asarki.

"Hey, Asarki, one-hour remaining. If it's better if we move right now." He suggested in a cold tone.??

Asarki nodded her head at him. "You're right, Grim, I think it's much better if we increase our ranking before the match end." She responded nonchalantly, and slowly pushed herself into a stood-up position.

Yumiro followed him and said. "I already saw them how those adventurers exactly fight. I feel they are still hiding something." Yumiro was bothered for some reason, as he thought three parties were suddenly because they have received the notification.

"Hippie, use your strength and help us to fight those parties." Asarki ordered the woman sitting inside the cave.

Panjin's party, Six's party, and Basik's were the remaining adventurers. A man with silky brown hair, blue eyes, and wielding a sword. His screen name was Pajin level 28 swords. On the opposite side, was Six it had black hair, red eyes, and wielding a spear. He was a level 28 Lancer. In the middle, his screen name was Basik. He had a wide physique, scars throughout his body, black hair, and black eyes. He was a level 28 fighter that specialized in wielding large mourning controlled by a heavy chain.

[Boro Smash!]

Before Grim and Asarki reached their location. And all of a sudden, could not wait to attack the opponents in front of him.

He was circulating his mourning star in three hundred sixty degrees. By looking at it, you could easily tell Basik's attack was a dangerous one.

Brown magic circle appeared as he was also enhanced his power by using his mana. He then swung downward and smashed it through the ground.

Boom!

His mourning star penetrated and shook the ground. And unexpectedly a fault was chasing the man in front of him and it was Panjin's party. Inside Basik's mind, if this attack perfectly landed those adventurers would surely stop from moving.

The ground was scattered all over the place. However, Panjin was in the presence of his mind as he quickly ordered his party members.

"Move away! That's binding magic, once we fall in this fault there's sticky mud waiting for us down there." Panjin responded to Basik's attack nonchalantly, as he was slowly falling from the air.

As soon as Pajin's party touched the surface, he mildly bent his body and held the red-orange sword positioned on his waist. "Not bad, you have the strength, but you rush yourself to attack me." He thought Basik's footing was stumbled, so he quickly dashed to him and cast his skill swordsman skill.

[Blade works!]

Then suddenly when Pajin's sword gleamed. He vanished from his current location and the only thing you could was an orange straight light that rapidly came at Basik.

Swish!

With the given strength and speed, Pajin swung his sword, aiming at his opponent's neck.

Clang!

Basik used his heavy chains of the mourning star to block that attack and he succeeded. He had an annoying smile on his face as he wanted to mock Pajin since his attack wasn't strong enough to push him back even inch.

Palin gritted his teeth, then immediately stepped back after hearing the sharp sound swiftly coming to his left side.

Swish!

As expected, a blue spear had a touch of white appeared between them. It was Six, he used that chance to eliminate Pajin from this match. However, because of his good observation and precise movements were able to dodge the attack.

"Six..." For Pajin, Six was his main for this match. As he could wield dangerous blows and speed that even he would have a hard to catching up.

Swish!

Six pushed again his spear straightforward, in order to deal with some damage to Basik. Since he noticed Basik's upper body was perfectly protected, so he went for the leg.

His spear penetrated. Moreover, he quickly pulled it and Basik's opened wound splashed blood.

"Argh!" Basik groaned in pain as there was something different with this man's weapon. He slightly stepped back and looked at the woman behind him. "Heal me right now!" He hurriedly said.

[Healing!]

His wound easily closed as he has received healing magic from the cleric. Then, he frowned his brows and glared at Six. "You... You're the first one who deals damage with in just a second. So, I'll let you experience what you have never experienced before."
