The Adventurer System

Chapter 252 - Sneaky Play

Grim and Asarki have an expedition inside the Oracticle dungeon. It was a new dungeon that came up after the Adventurer System 2.0 was released. This means none of the adventurers had no any information what were the types of monsters that existed here.

He could feel the heat coming on the touches mounted on the wall. And for some reason, he was thinking about Hippie.

Asarki noticed this man was being quiet although he was usually like this, still, she asked him. "Grim, you're thinking deeply... What's the problem?"

As expected to Grim. He was not saying any kind of words that would basis of his personal life or the others' life. "Don't mind me. This is the problem that I would not share with everyone."

For Asarki, it was a good response from Grim. Why? Since she had an idea now what this man thinking right now, or to be simple, she could now understand why this man sometimes acted like this.

'Hmm... It looks this guy has always been a problem in the real world. I think he's just using this game to remove his stress.' It was Asarki opinion.

Their walk in the straight path took long until... Asarki felt a denser man at the endpoint of this place. She tugged Grim's blue robe, ordering him to stop.

"Wait, Grim, we should watch the surroundings before we enter the endpoint." She suggested, narrowly looking at the green dark aura seeing by using her zexel.

Yumiro raised his shoulders a bit, knowing this woman would never act like this if there was no perilous situation that might occur. "Fine, Asarki, let's have a slow pace since we didn't know what kind of monsters are waiting for us."

Seemingly Grim learned how to listen to the others. No, or way more looked like he was trusting Asarki's zexel.

"That's right, Grim. To lessen the casualties that might happen to us we must not act recklessly. Even though you're a stronger adventurer than before, still, we should play and be safe." Asarki said in a deep tone.

One minute and thirty seconds was the exact estimation before Grim and Asarki reached the endpoint. The place was getting darker and darker as both of them got deep.

'There's no any torches to our current spot. I must activate my heat detection skill, so I can alarm myself if someone is going to attack me.' He uttered to his mind, at the same time, what kind of place waiting for them inside.

"We are getting closer, Grim, prepared yourself." Asarki said, can't determine the type of monsters roaming in front of them.

He nodded his head at her. "Don't worry, I'm always prepared." He confidently responded, then covered the front line to stop any attack that would rapidly head to them.

Bam!

His feet touched on the surface. Now, he was blinking his eyes in confusion, asking himself why this place was looked scary?

The trees here seemed too old since they had no existing leaves and scary dark crows were flying around. To easily describe the place, it was a destroyed forest where the vampire or wolves inhabited.

Thud!

Grim was outbalanced and fell to the ground after Asarki barely tugged his blue robe. "Hey come back here, it's not safe to get outside-!" She hurriedly ordered him.

It appeared the place they were walking earlier was just a safe zone where the monsters could not reach. Just like the other dungeon, the system gave them a place where the adventurers analyze the situation and make a concrete plan to win against the monsters.

"What are you doing, Asarki? Don't shout, the monsters could hear us." To stop her, he gently covered her mouth by using his hand. "Shh..."

Her back was leaning on the dungeon wall while the man over her was making a gesture, asking her to quiet. 'What's wrong with me? Why is my heart beating so fast?' Even though she was felt uncomfortable with their current situation, or else they would get the attention of the monsters outside.

When Asarki understood the situation, Yumiro stepped back with a redded face as his arms suddenly touched fluffy stuff. To would not focus attention into it, he used the system function to have a conversation with her.

'I-I think it's way more better if we used the system function. In order to didn't hear us by the monsters.' He was still stuttered.

Asarki was looking at the different sides along with an innocent face, cause even she noticed that Grim's arm touched her chest. At the same time, her hand gently touched a straight stuff, if she described it was like a long flashlight. 'Fine with me...'

Yet, she was not mad about me since it was the situation when they can inevitably be held by each other.

"D-Do you know, what those monsters are, Asarki?" He was still could not recover from that situation as he could feel her hand touching him. Moreover, something to him was getting hard every time he was thinking too much about it.

She secretly shook her hand, saying to her mind that she must stop thinking about this. Also, she was the main reason why Grim Draigh fell over her.

"Yeah... Somehow I have an idea what kind of monsters are in front of us. They are the Dark Crow, it's an aggressive monster that can penetrate inside your body by flying at a flash pace and using its keen beak." Asarki explained, then started to cool down her heat a bit.

Yumiro took a glance at the monsters flying in the dark sky. It was one and a half meters tall and usually larger than the crow he could see into the real world. Also, it had dark violet eyes and 6 inches long nails on its legs.

"This is bad, there are 6 dark crows waiting for us outside." In his mind, this was the first time fighting a monster that could fly.

Moreover, it was already night in this place. It looked like the system just intentionally turned this place like this. So the monsters have added strength as they were more stronger when the night came.

With his current skills, Yumiro has a skill that could be sufficient in long-range combat. But the problem was, Asarki as there was a chance they will attack her first.

"What do you think is the best plan here, Asarki? I need your suggestion." Grim asked her, admitted Asarki was more intelligent than him.

She rubbed her chin, and all of a sudden, put it down as she realised that was the hand she used when he accidentally held a hard stuff. "W-well the best plan here is to quickly eliminate those monsters. Let's have a sneaky play, Grim."

He had an idea what the things Asarki was plotting to him, but he wanted to have more information. "Sneak play? Can you tell it to me more specifically?"

"Sneaky play, usually it's used by an assassin class. However, with your current strength and speed, I can easily say you could play in assassin class right now. To be simple, we are going to annihilate those monsters one by one." Asarki said in a serious tone, knowing if they commit one wrong it can be the cause to change the outcome of this expedition.

He gradually nodded his head, at the same time, having a malicious smile on his face. In his mind, by using the [dash] [Speed star dash] and enhancement skill with his [physical transmission] skill, he can be invisible.

"I agree with your plan, Asarki. Inventory." Yumiro took the kariki knife out of his inventory. Why the Kariki knife? It had a simple answer because it was easier to wield than the Grete sword he needed to full swing just to land higher damage.

"I'll give some a spell buff to help you to attack. Also, I suggest attacking the one monster that no one could notice, once they saw one of them die they would surely alarm." Asarki suggested, then went towards the endpoint where the monsters could not see her precise location.

"Copy, Asarki..." Yumiro looked at his screen and remembered something before they started their official expedition inside the Oracticle dungeon. 'Hmm... It's better for us if she will take experience in this place.'

[Grim is inviting you to be the party leader? Yes/No]

Her eyes were widened after seeing the system notification appear right in front of her eyes, didn't expect Grim would let her be the party leader in this expedition.

"Grim, you are stronger than me... You are the one who should be at the party leader her not me." Asarki refused as she didn't want to rule a party where someone was triple times stronger than her.

He sighed deeply, "I don't care who is the strongest to both of us. I just realized that you are the most suitable person for this spot." Grim encouraged her and added. "Come on, leader Asarki, the time is running."

She smiled at him and nodded. "Yes!"
