The Adventurer System

Asarki and Grim surprised all the adventurers inside the virtual world. After they were received a new notification came from the system, thinking Grim Draigh did something why he always gained the important quest.

What the heck?! Grim Draigh the current number one rookie killed the vampire prince?! How did he supposedly do that?

If he's really strong why he won't show himself in the guild selection?!

I would complain! There's something wrong with this game! I'm always spent my time researching and finding the important quest, but then, Grim Draigh easily took all the quest?!

Those words you could see in the online platform, and the adventurers gathered in the log-in area. They wanted to see the clip of how Grim killed the vampire so they would clarify if he's cheating or not.

Gin had a malicious smile on his face, looking at the transparent door as he was already expecting Carol would appear here to report the incident that he had seen already.

The transparent door automatically, then a woman with blond hair wearing a white dress appeared. Obviously, it was Carol rapidly headed towards this location.

"Sir, you have to know something-!" She stopped after seeing Gin raise his hand looking at her with a grin on his face.

Gin pointed his index finger at the screen. "I watched him all the time, Carol, so you don't have to bother yourself." He said in a deep tone and added. "It's been several weeks, do you really send the letter in the address of Grim Draigh."

Carol nodded her head at him, "Yes, I'm sure that I sent the letter since I'm personally going to the mail company to talk about this." She replied in a deep, tone. "But unfortunately, Grim Draigh isn't responding to our letter."

Gin slowly rubbed his chin, expecting that was hard to fish the strong adventurer like him. In his mind, with his current level 26, more scenes would happen and could be stronger.

He took the pack of his cigarette, then lit one. And out of nowhere, he spits some words that surprised Carol. "I have met Harley Blun yesterday."

Carol was blinking his eyes in shock, didn't know Harley would appear again after he lost for a year because his daughter died. "R-Really, what did he say to you, sir Gin? He never showed for a year he must show up now to answer the problem we are facing right now." She said in a high tone.

Gin could not blame her if she raised her voice since she was the one who was facing the problem and thinking the best strategy to increase their sales.

"He had no intention to come back here, Carol, he entered the virtual world to find an item that could back his daughter. When I saw him, I can't stop myself crying because the only thing I could see was the sadness enveloped him."

To be exact, Harley Blun the main creator of the Adventurer System was joined to become an adventurer inside the virtual world. He was the creator of this game? He must know all the items and the monster on each floor of the legendary golden dungeon. The answer was no, he made this game perfectly that no one could ever use a cheat in this game. Just like what he said, he created this game equivalently and gave the adventurers one life to play this game. So they could change their life here and escape from the inevitable changes in the real world.

Of course, Harley Blun had still an advantage once he played this game as he already know how can defeat a specific monster, skill, and weaknesses. But the story would be changed with the zexel since the passive skill was based on your desire, passion, love, or who you are outside the virtual world.

"He can't do that, sir Gin! If sir Harley Blun declares that he's one of the adventurers in this game. The other players would think he's Grim Draigh because of the important quest he completed."

Carol was right, no one should know that Harley Blun left the company just to become an adventurer and find the item that would revive his daughter.

That idea already went to Gin's mind, but what he could do? He never would reach that life he had right now if Harley was not there. Also, like a good best friend to him the only thing, he could do was to support him. Yes, he was also of how Harley suffered when his daughter because of the disease that no technology or any scientists could help them.

Now he realized that no matter how much money you have it was billion or trillion if God will take your life it will take it.

"Carol I'm going to change our plan. I'm personally going to Grim Draigh's house, to convince him to team up with Harley Blun. I'll give all he wants just to accept my offer?"

What the heck? A current strong adventurer in the virtual world would team up with the main creator of this game. With this, the way to step into the Heaven's Dream would be easier.

Back inside the dungeon, Asarki reached her first achievement in this game and it was to defeat the Vampire prince. Yet, she didn't mind it after she saw Grim fall to the ground and the human bat transformation vanished as he depleted all of his mana.

"Grim!" She shouted, then immediately went towards him as she noticed the barrier that separated them disappear.

The entire place was enveloped by the scent of iron as the so much blood released by the monsters poured the surface. Her feet were made sticky but she doesn't care about it as Grim wasn't moving for some reason.

"Grim, what's going on to you? Come on answer me?" She worriedly said since Grim Draigh wasn't responding to her.

A man with silver-white hair was bathed by the monster's blood. Since she could not his health power, Asarki opened her function. By doing this, she can't see the exact hp just the percent.

Somehow Grim's HP was around 20%, for her, it was enough she just wanted to see Grim could continue to play this virtual game.

Tears welled up in her eyes while giving all the remaining health potions inside her inventory. She removed the notification appearing right in front of her.

Even though she noticed the portal that would be the way to get back in the luxury room, she refused to get back in the meantime. As she assisted him leaned his back on the wall.

"Just rest for a bit, Grim, I'll finish the job that you have left me." She said in a serious tone, then went towards the Vampire's corpse.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Her expression was changed, showing how much she hated this vampire. She looked aggressive this was the Asarki that Grim knew. Each of her slashes was penetrating inside the monster's body, seizing its core to assure their win in this quest.

While crying and blood splashes on her face, she succeeded to seize the monster's core, at the same time, saw the red particles flying through the mid-air.

Yet, her eyes were looking on the surface seeing the item drops. Killing a high-level monster had always had valuable loot.

"What is this?"

Asarki saw the three items were lying on the surface, earring, necklace, and vampire fang that could help to increase their basic status.

[Blood earring] - this item had 40% mana regeneration and was allowed to manipulate an opponent's blood once you inflict small damage.

To activate the passive effect of the earring she must cut her enemy and taste their blood. By doing this, you can control their bodies in an instant.

[Necklace fest] - it can help to nullify the magical and physical damages by 45%.

[Vampire fang]- This item would help to increase your physical damage by 30% and the critical chance of 9.89%.

From a critical, it was so high since Grim could easily one hit the monster if that critical chance suddenly activated.

Boom!

And all of a sudden, Asarki heard the explosion beneath her and the place was started crumbling. It appeared after the last clash made by Grim and Vladimir, the mansion could not accept all the destruction they made. Moreover, the main reason for this was the barrier vanished which helped to strengthen the structures.

Swoosh!

She quickly dashed towards Grim, knowing they must quickly leave this mansion before they die here. The portal was not too far away, so she was confident that they will leave this place in no time.

"Come on, Grim, we need to leave." She said while carrying him with her all might. Thanks to his high strength, she was able to carry him without having any problem.

If an ordinary Cleric did this, it will carry Grim but it will take too much time.. "I do not deserve those items, Grim, it's all yours."
