Nancy's POV

I still can't figure out why Baby had to leave in a hurried as he did. We both share something special, I felt it and I know he felt it too. My dad's office light was still on which got my attention. I was lost in my thought that I forgot to go back through the window but rather the main door. Thank god both my mum and dad were asleep.

I entered my dad's office to off the light when I realized his laptop was still on I walked to the table to shut it down when an email popped up. It opened by accident and I read the content. "Mr. Neo there is a new development concerning our research and Dr. Michael wants you in the lap first thing tomorrow morning" there was nothing special about the email. I quickly shut the laptop and off the light.

Something fell making a loud noise. I quickly put the lights back on to check what it was. It was a bag. I chuckled and place it properly on the table. A tap fell out of it. I picked it up and went back to my room. I thought it was some old player with songs. I slot it in my tape recorder it turned to be my father's research work. She couldn't believe her ears.

Roland was in his room when he sense Baby's presence. He looked outside his window and saw him in the dark.

Roland goes outside to face him. Baby was in a rage as he quickly rush to Roland and pinned his neck against the wall.

"What did you do wizard?" Baby scoffs still holding Roland's neck.

"Let go of me wolf" he ordered as he chants. Baby was forced to leave as he falls to the ground.

Roland keeps chanting

"Stop!" He groans in pain. Roland enjoyed seeing him suffer at his hand.

"The next time you lay hands on me again, you will regret it" Roland warned.

"Why can't I get close to Nancy? What did you do?" he asked angrily.

"I cast a spell" Roland muttered

"You what? Why is that? You know we are bonded and she is my Luna" Baby howls

"I know" Roland smirks and threatened Baby to keep his distance else he will make him regret it. "That spell can't keep me away from her for long, I hope you know that?" Baby makes a fist. He can't hurt Roland his powers have grown now.

"I know that, but trust me I'm working on a permanent solution for you to stay away from her" Roland chuckled.

"We will see about that" Baby hollers and glares at Roland with his angry piercing eyes as he runs off.

Roland took a deep breath before going back to his room. "Who were you talking with outside?" His father asked looking around.

"No one dad, I came out for fresh air. You should go back to bed" Roland whispered

His father was concerned but had to give up since he didn't see anyone.
