"My back is fine now Reign, you don't have to hold me upright," Skylar said it loud enough for Karly to hear. She wasn't in the mood for a fight. She had avoided it for the whole day and now Reign was making it hard for her.

Reign let her go slowly, Skylar stole a glimpse at Karly, and she could see the vein in her neck popping.

The teacher came in and she was relieved. She was stressing the whole time, "Can one of you dearies go get the copies for me from admin?"

Reign's hand shot up immediately.

"Thank you, Reign."

"Is it fine if Skylar comes with me and helps me?"

"Sure, why not."

Skylar got up stiffly and followed Reign. She could see people glaring at her and already making assumptions that she didn't want to even think about. When they were out the door and out of peoples hearing.

"Let's go talk by the bleachers, there is no-one there."

"No, I don't want to talk Reign."

"Skylar lets go."

"No, I. don't. want."

"Fine, I could kiss you again in front of everyone inthe class."

"You wouldn't dare."

"Oh, but I would try me."

Skylar looked at his face and she saw that he meant every word that he was saying and that kind of made her heart jump a bit,

"Fine, we will talk but only for five minutes."

She followed Reign up to the bleachers. When they got there she didn't know what to do. Reign looked at her, and he looked at her long and hard.

"What?"

"Where were you, Skylar?"

"Huh?"

"All those days you weren't at school."

"I was at home."

"Why didn't you reply to my calls or texts?"

"I was tired Reign."

"That's not good enough."

"Then I don't know what you want me to say."

"Skylar I want to know, where you and I are heading."

"I don't know, I am confused."

"But you always said we couldn't be together because of Karly, now I am here and ready."

"I know Reign but it is not as simple as you think it is."

"Why?"

"It's hard to explain."

"Is it hard or you won't."

"I don't know, Reign. I am very confused that's all that I can say."

"I was losing my mind as to whether you were fine or not. You could have at least sent me one message."

"I didn't talk to anyone okay, during that time. I needed to be alone."

Reign ran a hand through his head, "what more can I do Skylar?"

"I didn't ask for more, I just need time. That's all."

"Fine,I am only agreeing because you don't look so well."

Reign pulled her and embraced her. Skylar didn't fight him, it felt nice to be wrapped around his arms. She knew that it was also hard for Reign to be waiting for an answer from her. She put her arms around his waist.

Reign rested his head on the curve of her neck, and she felt his warm breath.

"What are you guys doing?"

Reign and Skylar broke up and they turned to find Jessie standing there.
