"I have to go now, Meilin." He turned back to his laptop.

Even if Xia Meilin wanted to say more, all she can do was nod and force out a smile. "I love you."

His lips curled up into a gentle smile. "Mm… I love you too."

After the video call ended, Lu Yifeng turned to Lu Xian Yu. The gentleness he had on his face earlier was now gone.

"Where is she?" This was the first thing that Lu Xian Yu asked when he faced him.

"I can't tell you where she is until this matter is solved."

Lu Xian Yu's eyes were cold and blank, his usual playfulness was gone. Because of his messy blond hair and the dark bags under eyes, it made him look restless.

"Then why not capture her now? Why are you still allowing her to walk freely around the place?" Lu Xian Yu said through gritted teeth.

"We will deal with her through legal means." Lu Yifeng was sure that Yong Biqi will still be sentenced a death penalty when she will be captured by law enforcement.

"Legal means? Then you should go ask for someone else's help, not mine!" Because of the lack of sleep, Lu Xi'an Yu's temper was being affected.

"I can do that but are you sure you want that?" Lu Yifeng calmly said before he took one of the files he was working on. "Do you still want to know where she is?"

Lu Xian You has sent his men to look for her but he never expected that Li Bingbing was good in hiding. Even his own hacker couldn't find anything about Li Bingbing. This could only mean one thing... There was a big possibility that she changed her name.

He tried searching for Xia Sinian instead. Even if he didn't want to admit it, he knew that wherever Xia Sinian was, Li Bingbing will be there.

But he was facing Li Bingbing, she was smart and she will make sure her plans are perfect... and so, with her abilities, she hid every information about Xia Sinian.

He cannot threaten the Xia Family since his sister-in-law was a Xia. Lu Xian You was pretty sure that Lu Yifeng will not sit quietly if his wife's family was touched.

Lu Xian Yu was couldn't let her photo out to his friends since he didn't trust them that much. In the underworld, anyone can betray him.

He has already put Li Bingbing in danger once and he will not do the same again, that's why Lu Xian Yu's move was limited.

Lu Xian Yu let out a sigh before he raked his bangs with his fingers. "When will you tell me where she is?"

"I have already given you the answer."

Lu Xian Yu stared at him for a while before he straightened his back. "Fine, I'll help you. What should I do first?"

Lu Yifeng was expecting Yong Biqi to avoid him but he never expected that she will show herself up in front of him. Lu Yifeng was attending a birthday party of one of his business partners' niece. He was invited to the said party and that's why he was there.

"Ah, Mr. Lu, this is my wife, Yong Biqi." Ling Yizhou, one of Lu Yifeng's business partners introduced.

The woman standing beside Ling Yizhou was a very beautiful woman who resembled Xia Meilin a lot... well, except for her short hair.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Mr. Lu." Yong Biqi's eyes curled down like a crescent moon when she smiled at him as she offered her hand to him for a handshake.

"Likewise, Mrs. Ling." Lu Yifeng said calmly as he shook her hand.

Yong Biqi might be smiling and Lu Yifeng may have a blank look on his face but the atmosphere between the two was heavy.

Lu Yifeng noticed that Yong Biqi's temperament was the same as Xia Meilin. In a group, she was quiet and would only talk when someone was talking to her. She was like a predator, watching her prey's movements closely without making it obvious.

Aside from their introduction with each other, Lu Yifeng and Yong Biqi never talked with each other.

"Good evening, Mr. Lu."

A beautiful dirty blonde haired woman, wearing an elegant red dress walked towards him.

Lu Yifeng turned to her but he didn't give her the same reaction as the other men would give. As usual, his face was expressionless.

"My name is Kang Lin." The woman with a melodious voice said. "I am happy that you were able to attend my birthday party."

Kang Lin was introduced by Ling Yizhou earlier as his niece and she was warmly welcomed by everyone. She was a well-known model in the entertainment industry.

Lu Yifeng gave her a nod in acknowledgment but he didn't say anything.
