The Dragon’s Kin

As we flew towards the island, we landed in the middle of a white temple.

Is it temple? I can't really tell...At least from from my point of view, it's a huge one. I'm still growing and baby dragons are really small, okay!

We started walking towards ancient styled double doors, when from out of nowhere, the doors were flung open. Behind them a golden scaled dragon, same height as my mother ran towards us.

"Aliciaaa!!!!" the dragon started shouting my mother name.

"Ephi!" noticing her, my mother called out to her.

"You are cruel! Leaving without telling anything to your best friend!" everyone could see tears of hapiness flowing from her eyes as she ran towards us. But then, she came to a halt. Reason for that kind of reaction? Well, she saw me hiding behind my mother.

Seeing this, my mother broke her stare, "A lot of things happened after I left Ephi...A LOT" saying while glancing towards me with a gentle smile. Seeing this, the golden dragon came back to life.

"B-but when, with who!? Who took away my precious little sister!?" she asked.

"Calm down Ephi, this isn't the time and place to talk about him. Anyway, this is Tamariesha, my daughter." she walked behind me to let 'Ephi' have a better look.

Mother!! This is embarrasing! Why would you throw me under the bus to change the subject?

"E~ll~oo" I had to somehow react and the only thing that came to my mind was saying 'hello'.

"Aaah! SOO CUTE!" she screamed.

"She reminds me a lot of Alicia when-" as she was talking, my embarrased mother cut her short with "Ephi!".

You can tell that they are really close.

"Ah sorry, I'm Ephiliana Goldenscale, you can call me big sis Ephi!". She is as energetic as mother...

"S~i~s!" this was my payback for earlier.

"Waaah!! Alicia, can I take her with me!?" she said towards my mother. Am I some kind of toy?

Mother looked stern as she replied with "No! Tamariesha is my daughter!".

Rejected Ephi looked at my mother with the face of someone that wanted to say 'Can't you at least share her with me?'.

I'm getting worried about my future!

It happened right at that moment, we heard a terrifying roar of a dragon. The roar shook the surroundings and drops of sweat started forming on my mother scales.

"Ephi, if I die here, take care of Ta-" cutting her short, an elderly voice resounded in the area.

"A-li-ci-a!! Where have you been young lady!" landing behind us, there was a big body of a dragon. As the dust cleared from the area, it revealed its silver scales.

"F-father? Wh-why are you here!?" my mother still a bit stiff, slowly turned towards the silver dragon.


Then, this is my grandfather!?
