Ian questioned.

“Isn’t that a bit too much of a stretch?

“Is that how you see it?”

“A mute is a mute, even if he was at the center of the incident.”

“And the youngest got beaten up by that mute?”

“It’s quite plausible. Although he’s dumb… Hasn’t the youngest one beaten up by that dumb  mute once before?”

Kane burst out laughing.

Ian was right, Bill, the youngest, had been beaten once before, five years ago, by that same mute.

‘The Little Confucius… before the kid became too ill.’

‘Considering the circumstances, my guess was an excessive assumption.’

“So…. You mean to say that there’s a third party involved?”

Cain nodded at the new assumption.

It seemed to be the most plausible explanation at this moment.

A third party that was outside of his predictions.

The most plausible story was that this person had realized Sebastian’s identity and prevented it from happening.

Of course, that was just one of many possible scenarios.

For now, everything was still shrouded in mystery, so it was best to keep guessing.

Having organized his thoughts, Kane turned to Ian.

“From this point forward, I want you to stop doing anything to the Bavarians.”

“…Father?”

“Why are you saying that?”

“Are you giving up on Bayern over something like this?”

Cain shrugged.

“Is Bavaria our goal?”

“…?”

“Isn’t our goal a little further up?”

“I apologise”

“If we’re going to aim higher, we need to be more thorough than we are now. We need to eliminate all variables and make sure our cause is successful.”

Ian bowed and stepped back at his answer.

Watching him go, Cain looked away.

The massive Imperial Palace came into his view.

“We’ll be the ones laughing in the end, so there’s no need to rush. Slow and firm… it’s better to eliminate all the variables.”

With those words, Cain stood up from his seat.

He turned to a man and ordered.

Arthur Bayern.

To observe the changes in that child.

Six months had passed since Sebastian became an idiot.

Much had changed in this time, and Arthur was very pleased with the changes.

“So much has changed from what I knew before.

Most noticeably his mother.

Yonel Bavaria is more determined than ever and is tackling her duties as a duke like never before.

In previous life, she was struggling with her position as Duke.

This was understandable, as she had always lived a life far removed from power.

But after the incident with the poison, she has changed noticeably.

She was still uncomfortable with being a duke, but she wasn’t running away from it.

And this change had the effect of stabilizing the faltering Bavarian house.

‘The number of people who looked down on my mother has noticeably decreased.’

But the changes didn’t end there.

As Sebastian had become an idiot, Arthur was much more free to act than before.

This allowed him to dedicate himself to healing his body, and the results were tremendous.

Originally, the body that was treated at the age of 27 was now completely treated at the age of only 15.
