The Fallen Consort

She accepted the hand that was offered to her. The person pulled her too fast that she landed on its ċhėst.

*Baduummp* Her heart skipped a beat.

She looked up and saw a very handsome man. He had an angelic face with blue eyes. He was wearing a white and gold colored robe. He had a long and shimmery silver hair. She can't help but compare him to the purple-eyed stranger she saw earlier. That guy had a devilish look, while this one was a total opposite. She blushed as she remember that their hands had touched. She shook her head.

*Boink*

" Ahhh ! " She rubbed her head. The handsome man knocked some sense into her. She had a look of someone who was daydreaming. The problem was, she was still on his embrace. That's why he had to hit her.

"What are you spacing out about?" The handsome man had a gentle voice as well, she noted. He lifted his hands and rubbed her hair gently. Yi Ling looked up and she was mesmerized. His hand felt warm and comfortable while his other hand was still wrapped around her. Her face turned red. He then released her and she took a step back.

"Who are you?" She asked. The handsome man smiled gently at her. He was trying to find the right words on how to answer her question. He crossed one of his arm and rubbed his chin.

"Who do you want me to be?" He teased. His blue eyes were smiling.

She blushed again. " Do I know you? " She replied.

" Yes and no ". He said. There was a slight changed on his eyes, It got darker for a second. It was so fast that she didn't noticed it.

She looked at the handsome man in front of her. He really seems familiar. Then the idea hit her. He looked exactly like the devilish man. Just that... Their eyes, hair color and the aura is different. The devilish man had a cold and dark aura, while this one was comforting. They dressed up totally opposite too.

Noticing that she wasn't answering. He pinched her cheeks. She was daydreaming again, he thought. She squirmed and blushed.

" I am a Deity ", he finally decided to answer her question.

" I am a Deity that guards this place. You are inside the Sapphire Jade Ring." he explained.

"What!? So I'm not dreaming???" she yelled. He shook his head. He had never seen this innocent look on her before. His mind reminisce the past for a second and sighed.

She rubbed her nose. "If I'm not dreaming, why am I inside the ring?" She looked at the handsome man again. "And what's your name?" Her head tilted to the side as she looked at him.

"My name is Mu Xin, I am now contracted to you. You are my master and the master of this place from now on." He opened his arms wide while smiling at her.
