The Fallen Consort

Yi Ling was standing on a cliff. Similar to the one that overview the Jin Kingdom, just this time it was the Xiang Kingdom.

She felt the sudden movement behind her and knew that her son came back.

"Mother?" Minzhe walked beside her and handed her the Ring. "I'll watch over your body, while you talk with father."

Yi Ling looked at the Ring in her hand, she knew that Muxin must've looking at her right now. She nodded to her son and slipped the Ring on her finger. She sat down next to a tree, cleared her head as she take her soul out and entered the Ring.

Minzhe sat down beside her mother and hope that everything goes right.

As Yi Ling opened her eyes, she was standing next to the big pond. It grew now as her powers have grown, it now looks like a small lake. Looking up, she could see that Muxin standing on top of the hill.

She remembered how Muxin looked with his silver hair, the first time she met him on the hill. As well as seeing him through Meiling's confrontation. Unlike Hualing's memories, Muxin had the same black hair that the current King Jin has.

There was still a lot of pieces missing in her memories, but one thing was for sure. King Jin hasn't lost his memories yet, during the time that he and Hualing had gotten married.

With a swift moved, Yi Ling appeared in front of Muxin. Being an Emergent stage, she could fly now. Added the 3 unlocked seals on her body, she was more powerful than a 1st rank Emergent Stage. She should be at least on par with a mid-rank Emergent Stage.

"We meet again". Muxin had a lot to say but for some reason, that was the only thing that came out from his mouth. He gulped.

"En. Do you have anything to say?" Yi Ling looked at him in the eyes. There was still a burning fire of anger and frustration inside her heart, yet she knew that running away was not an option.

"What do you want me to say?". Muxin said calmly, yet his emotions was unstable. He wanted to run to her, shield her from everyone. The 5 steps distance that could bring him to her, seems like it was farther than that. He could sense the hostility in her eyes.

"The truth." She said plainly.

Muxin sighed. "Ask and I will answer." He knew that the bow's spirit must have told her about something.

"Am I your reincarnated sister? Meiling?" Yi Ling asked. She knew the answer already, but she wanted Muxin to say it. Only then will everything feel right.

"Yes and no." He said. Yi Ling brow's furrowed.

"Yes, you are his reincarnation. No, we aren't related." Muxin explained, sensing her confusion.

Yi Ling nodded. Right, they weren't siblings. "Where did we come from?"

Muxin's eyes widen. No one should know about that world. How did she know?

Looking at the sudden changes on Muxin's face, she added. "When I unlocked my 3rd seal, I slowly recalled some of my memories. But it wasn't until I met Qianru that I fully remembered what happened the day I died. I know that you didn't kill me, It was I that made you done it. But I couldn't recall what happened before that day, Just us fighting and our conversation. Tell me, where did we come from?."

"Ling'er .. I.." Muxin had a hard time processing this information. If she knew that I didn't killed her, why did she left?
