The Fallen Consort

Feng Kingdom is one of the lowest ranked kingdom around Huaxia. It was located near Min Xiang River. Even though it was in the lowest rank, It was a considered a big kingdom for the non-cultivators. Linyu explained everything to Yi Ling. He was made aware by Mu Xin that Yi Ling didn't know anything about Huaxia, since she came from a very remote area. Along the way, Yi Ling suggested that she will act as his little brother instead. She doesn't wanna stand out anymore than she has to. So she planned to just tagged behind Linyu and be his little tail. Since Linyu was her contracted spiritual herb, she can communicate with him telepathically. She planned to get a new set of robes when they get there, so she doesn't looked like his servant. But first, they need to earn money, she thought. They both haven't had the slightest clue on how to achieved this, so they decided to see what they can do or sell.

They've reached their destination on the 3rd day, The Abyss wasn't that far from it. A crowd can be seen at the main gate. There's seems to be a line going on.

Linyu decided to ask around. He found an older gentleman along the line. He seems to be a vendor, he thought.

"Excuse me sir, May I know what is going on here? Why is there a line?" Linyu's voice sounded intelligently. The line was quite long and its already past noon. He rubbed his chin.

"Aiya, you must be new here young master." The old gentleman looked at Linyu and Yi Ling. Seeing how they dressed up, he figured out that Linyu must be from a noble family and Yi Ling is his servant. You can't help it, Yi Ling look so rugged. Added by not being able to clean herself.

"The Feng Kingdom is having an Grand Auction in Rongyu Auction House tonight. They have announced that they are auctioning some rare treasures. They said that they discovered a cave and it contains a lot of treasures inside. I had the list with me somewhere." He patted himself and found the list in his pocket. He handed it to Linyu.

Linyu took a look at it and understood the situation. Rongyu Auction House was selling some variety of gems, weapons, rare herbs, concoctions, low spiritual stones and a spiritual sword. It seems like the Sword was the main item for tonight. Linyu read the list out loud to Yi Ling through telepathic. After reading it, he handed it back to the old man. He said his thanks and lined up as well.

Aside from waiting a long time, they luckily got inside the Feng Kingdom before sunset. They didn't have any money at all, so they went to look around first. Since they were both wearing masks, it gave a mysterious feel to the people. Though it wasn't rare to see someone wear a mask, it was uncommon either.

~Yu'er , let's go to the main square. Maybe we'll be able have an idea by going there.~ Yi Ling said telepathically. Linyu nodded. They saw a lot of stalls, shops, restaurants and inns near the square.

One of the stalls was selling some Baozi. Yi Ling's stomach grumbled by the wonderful smell. She didn't had any good meal since 5 years ago. Money, I need money! She thought. Linyu felt her rising emotions. He fortunately didn't have to eat because he's an herb after all, all he needs is water and spiritual energy. Since his main body is planted inside the Blue Rose Palace, It had the perfect combination of spiritual energy and water from the pond. The pond wasn't ordinary either, it was a spiritual water. Anything inside the Blue Rose Palace was bound to be a priceless treasure.

That's it!, he thought. He informed Yi Ling about his idea and she instantly nodded. Her smile went wide up to her eyes.
