The Fallen Consort

Yi Ling nodded at Linyu. She told him that she wanted to check the Mo Family's herb collection first. See if she can find anything she needs to trade it with. Funny thing is, she needed every single kind of herb. So she can turn them all to spiritual herb and multiply them that way. It was a very sly idea indeed, Linyu sighed.

"Okay, come to our inn tomorrow. 2 hours before noon. We will go talk to your family head and see if he can offer anything that will attract us. It will be up to your family if they can meet our needs."

Linyu got up, indicating the end of the conversation. Yi Ling got up as well, she was done eating before Mo Tian came in. Too bad, she couldn't bring the leftovers, she thought. They left before Mo Tian can even say anything.

Mo Tian arrived slightly early than the appointed time. He wanted to show that he was deadly serious on this deal. Where else can you find a spiritual water? Though the young masters didn't confirm anything, he trusted them blindly. He informed his grandfather last night, they were here together for business. As expected, his grandfather agreed instantly with his proposal.

Yi Ling woke up way early. After making sure that her appearance was all fix, she summoned Linyu. She haven't been to the Blue Rose Palace ever since leaving the Abyss. She kinda miss Mu Xin's warmly smile, she thought. When Linyu appeared, they went ahead to meet Mo Tian.

Mo Tian's anxious heart slowly calmed down when he saw the two figures heading his way. After the greetings, Mo Tian led the way to the Mo Family's shop. As usual, Only Linyu talked with him the whole way, he never heard the younger man squeak. Even then, Linyu's replies were short ended ones. Mo Tian was in a predicament. He was trying to entertain them while walking towards their destination.

When they got to the Shop, the shopkeeper greeted them. He then said that the Family Head was waiting in his study upstairs. When they reach the room, a servant open the door for them. Inside the room, sat an old man. He got up to greet them politely. He introduced himself at Mo Yan. His grandson already informed him that he didn't know their names. Seeing them on their exquisite masks, he didn't dare ask them as well. People who have spiritual waters in there hands must have strong backers.

When the pleasantries was done, Linyu didn't wanna beat around the bush.

"We wanted to see your herb collection first before deciding. You were lucky that we needed a lot of medical herbs. To show sincerity, we offer you a small cup to drink from our spiritual water. I'm sure you wanted to check the validity." Linyu offered. Yi Ling didn't wanna act stingy , plus she has a pond full of it anyways. She wasn't losing anything.

Mo Yan and Mu Tian was shocked. They didn't expected to be offered such magnanimous thing. Yes, they wanted to verify the spiritual water. Just that, they didn't expected it to be this way. One can already verify it just by looking or taking a whiff from the water.

Mo Yan instantly agreed. No need to make this longer than one has to. Linyu produced a bottle from his pocket and pour it to a cup. Just enough for a sip. He then offered to Mo Yan. Mo Yan's eyes went wide, he can already feel the spiritual energy being emitted from the water. It was the real deal! He drank it and amazingly felt that he was so close to a breakthrough. He might be able to get a breakthrough once he go back home and cultivate. Spiritual water can also help someone with their cultivation. So drinking it straight was alright. It was just wasteful. One can make a lot of concoctions with it , if one is being smart with it.

Since the said item was verified, Mo Yan then lead the young masters to the Treasury. Mo Tian tagged along with them. When they got there, Yi Ling couldn't help but be excited! Finally, she can start making some concoctions! Buying a cauldron was easy now, since they have lots of money!. She smiled sinisterly, someone's treasury will get rob by someone's tiny hands.
