The Fallen Consort

"It is true, I am now healed and even had a breakthrough to nascent stage." He released his aura for the Emperor to see.

The Emperor was stunned. It was a great news for the Kingdom. "And the one who healed you? Are they true as well , son?"

So much for being called his son, Xiang He almost rebuked.

"This is my benefactor , Doctor Yi. He is indeed from a high-ranked kingdom." Xiang He gestured his father towards Yi Ling's way. Yi Ling was still sipping her tea, not minding anybody.

The Emperor took a good look at the young masked man. He looked too young to be a doctor, but he had heard that the strong ones are able to make themselves look young again. The people from the high-ranked kingdom have a higher status than him, he needed to be polite and respectful because of this.

He bowed towards Yi Ling and said, "Thank you Doctor Yi for healing my son. You are now our benefactor. Anything you wish, we will give it to you. This is me being grateful for saving my son."

Yi Ling didn't looked at him, but instead stared at her tea. It was getting cold. She handed the cup towards Linyu, Linyu poured her some more freshly hot tea.

"Anything you say?" Yi Ling rubbed the cup with her thumb.

"Yes, as long as it is within my capabilities." The Emperor bowed again. The results wouldn't be bad even if he needed to hug this young doctor's thɨġh.

"I'd like to enter the Kingdom's Treasury Pavilion. Don't worry, I'm only interested in herbs." Yi Ling eyed the Emperor, waiting to see his reaction.

As expected, His mouth twitched. It'd be one thing to ask for something, but to ask to see everything was astounding. He sighed. Since he already promised, he had to comply.

"That is no problem, I'm the Emperor after all." He didn't noticed that his forehead and his palm was sweating. All though he couldn't feel the aura of this man in front of him, he acted above anybody else. Only a powerful cultivator had the guts like this.

Hearing some good news, Yi Ling smirked. All of a sudden, The Viridis murmured something to Linyu, Yi Ling didn't heard it but noticed Linyu's changed of emotion.

"Master, The Viridis informed me that Xiang Ren is heading this way." He spoke to Yi Ling telepathically. The Viridis was stronger than anybody in this Kingdom, he is able to perceive any aura within 200 li away from him.

Yi Ling smiled behind her mask. She didn't replied to the Emperor but looked at Xiang He. She nodded to him, giving him a signal that the show was about to start. Xiang He nodded back to her and clenched his fist.
