Just as he got out of the carriage, he was shocked! He can't believe who was attacking him!

It wasn't a person at all! It was a spiritual beast! That's right! Spiritual beast! It was a big bear like spiritual beast, towering 8 foot. It had an aura of a 3rd Rank Qi Condensation.

The spiritual beast was mad! It killed the driver in one swipe while the horse was cut loose.

He thought that the beast will surely chase him, so he ran away.

The beast didn't pursue him though, contrary to what he believed. It stopped as soon as the man started running away. The beast went back to the carriage and peek inside. Inside the carriage, lay a beautiful girl. He gently picked up the little girl in his arms, trying to avoid scratching her skin with his claws. It wasn't an easy task for sure. When he finally got her out of the carriage, he got her on his back as he darted towards the forest.

As soon as the middle-aged man realized that the beast didn't follow him, he stopped behind a huge tree and tried to calm down. Why is there a spiritual beast in this area? No spiritual beast can be found near the Valley. This is because there is hardly any spiritual energy. No spiritual beast lingers if there isn't any spiritual energy nearby. This is what made him puzzled. Why? he thought.

And then the idea hit him! The girl! He instantly peek behind tree. No one was there.

"Did someone tried to get the girl away from me again?" It was absurd. It was more likely!

He ran back towards the carriage again, cautiously; in case the beast was still there.

When he noticed that it was too quiet, he dashed towards it. He didn't see anyone inside the carriage. This made him infuriated!

"I was right! Someone stole my bride away! Damn it!" His face was unsightly. He didn't dare think that it was the beast that stole the girl. In his mind, someone was controlling it to divert his attention.

He can't believe his luck! 5 years ago, She managed to escape. Now, this happened!

That girl really must've been a fairy!

"Wait till I get my hands on you little girl! I will surely devour you for sure!" He smirked.
