The Fallen Consort

"Hold a sec! Where's my father? Mu Xin, where is he?" He looked at her, aggressively.

Yi Ling was stunned. "Mu Xin? Father? Your father is Mu Xin??" she couldn't believe was she was hearing. Mu Xin had a son? When did this happened?

"Yes, Mu Xin. He is my father. He should be inside that Ring on your left hand. I can prove to you that I'm his son if you call out on him." He getting more suspicious. It seems like the young man didn't know about this. No matter, he shrugged his shoulders. His father should've notice his aura by now and will ask this young man to run away, so he could hide again from him. Tsk.

I don't know this kid, if he is telling the truth or not. I can't reveal about Mu Xin circumstances, it might bring him danger.

"Mu Xin, he is on closed-door cultivation right now. I can't call on him. Since you knew about him, you must really knew him. But how do I know if you're really telling the truth?" Yi Ling decided to raise her doubts. As far as she knew, Mu Xin has been stuck inside the Ring for a million years. How can he fathered someone? This man in front on her looked like on his twenties!

"That old man still dare cultivate? Tsk, he wouldn't be able to do much unless he gets out of the

Ring." He sighed as he thought. He knew about his father's punishment. After all, he was also the cause of it. He tightened his fist underneath the table.

"Is the old tree still with you though? He should be able to confirm my identity as well." He spoke with confidence, he can't give up this chance. He needed to warn his father regarding King Jin's appearance in Huaxia. It wouldn't be good if they accidentally bump into each other. Especially if his mother is really alive!

"Old tree?" Yi Ling rubber her chin as she was in deep thought. There was only one tree inside the Ring.

"You mean Linyu?" Yi Ling was astonished. This man seems to knows a lot about Mu Xin and Linyu. Is he really Mu Xin's son? Then why did he called her mother? That really puzzled her. She can't be this man's mother! That would be ridiculous! She laughed inside and brushed it of her mind.

"Linyu? That old tree finally had a name? haha." A spirit can only have a name if they are contracted to someone. Meaning this young man is the old tree's new master. But why him? He really couldn't understand it. His father was so aberrant towards anybody who wanted to own this Ring.

Yi Ling wasn't sure what to say or what to do. Only clearing it up can do good right now. She waved her sleeves and summoned Linyu.

Linyu was watering the plants when he got summoned. It was out of the blue that he was still holding on to a bucket full of spiritual water. He was facing his back to Jin Minzhe and didn't see him.

"Master, do you need me?" He looked at his master, he got the bucket down and bowed towards Yi Ling. Yi Ling sighed as she looked at Linyu. She didn't know how to say it, so she just pointed at the man behind Linyu.

"Yu'er, this man wanted to meet you."

"Man?" Linyu wasn't prepared, so he wasn't wearing his mask. He turned around and his eyes went wide. He gasped.

"You! what are you doing here?" Linyu stared at Jin Minzhe and looked towards Yi Ling as well. This can't be good and Mu Xin ain't here either! What to do? He was in a dilemma.

Damn it Mu Xin!!!! He clenched his fist.
