The Fallen Consort

Jin Minzhe was now standing in front of Yi Ling. They stared at each other, not knowing what to say. Jin Minzhe needed to formulate a plan. He wanted so much to stay beside his mother. Meeting her again for all those lonely years, he decided to stay next to her. No matter what his father say this time, he would never leave.

He looked at Yi Ling and he waved his sleeves. It was so fast that Yi Ling wasn't able to catch it on time. A thick smoke came out of nowhere and then there was a loud crying sound.

"Waahhh.. Wuahhh..!"

It sounded like a kid. Yi Ling got up when the smoke appeared. Even Linyu got alerted. Only Jin Minzhe wasn't. When the smoke started to disappear, Yi Ling saw a small silhouette in front of her. A couple of seconds pass, A bright and handsome 5 year old appeared.

The kid had a dark black hair, brown eyes and one dimple on his right cheek. His eyes were red and he was crying out too loud.

"Waahhhh.. Wahhhhhh.." He then ran to Yi Ling's thɨġh and hugged it. He kept crying and holding on tight, afraid she'll go away again.

Yi Ling was stunned. The kid looked familiar, he was wearing a purple robe. He looked exactly like the man in front of her a moment ago. Speaking of that man, he disappeared. Yi Ling looked at Linyu who was wide eyed.

Linyu was shocked as well. Jin Minzhe transformed himself back to his 5 year old self. He knew all too well that he ain't a kid! So why all of a sudden transform? He felt that his master was looking at him and sure enough, when he looked up Yi Ling was looking back. He bit his lower lips. Linyu couldn't keep up with what's going on. His heart was beating so fast.

"Is this the same man from earlier?" Yi Ling didn't moved. Jin Minzhe was still crying out loud and Linyu was sweating and frantic at the same time. He looked at Jin Minzhe again, he felt a headache coming. What am I supposed to do with this brat??!!

"Yes, that is him" He sighed.

"Since he is Mu Xin's son, he is also a Deity. He can transform himself to any age he wants to be."

Linyu sighed. Hoping that Yi Ling was understanding. He always felt like Jin Minzhe was a brat, it was one of the reasons why he got kicked out by his father from the Ring. Also the reason why Jin Minzhe hated his father. How could one father kicked out his own son?!

Jin Minzhe hugged Yi Ling's thɨġh, he was so short and cute. He was crying so loud to get Yi Ling's attention. For some reason, it tugged Yi Ling's heart. Seeing the little guy's tears and red face.

"ok. ok. Stop crying.. Why are you even crying anyways? Jeezz.. " Yi Ling squatted down and wiped the tears on Jin Minzhe's eyes.

*Sniff* *sniff* "You looked like my mother ... Wahhhhh... she died when she gave birth to me." Jin Minzhe decided to tell hell half truth and half not telling anything. He didn't dare lied, he was already guilty enough by her death.

Yi Ling was shocked. So that's the reason why he called her mother. There was something like that I guess. Seeing that his mother was listening to him intently, he added more fire to his story.

"Also, My old man kicked me out from the Blue Rose Palace. I'm still a kid compared to him. *sniff* *sniff* Deities lived almost forever, unless someone tries to kill us. I'm still a young born and he already threw me in this godforsaken world!" His face was so cute as he acted angry. A handsome kid throwing tantrum. Yi Ling felt like hugging him again, but she stopped herself.

"I don't have a mother, siblings or relatives in this world. waaaahhhh! My father is so mean! Waaahh!" He hugged Yi Ling's head as he cried so loud. He wanted to earn his mother's sympathies. If he wanted revenge on his father for kicking him out, his mother would be the best shield! He thought. He smiled when Yi Ling couldn't see his face.

Yi Ling was confused at the same time as being so understanding. She did felt like the man in front of her and the young man she saw 6 years ago was like a kid to her indeed. She rubbed his back to make him stop crying. She never had a sibling before, but she saw a lot of mothers with babies from Rock Valley and their old village. So she somewhat knew how to make them stop crying.

Jin Minzhe did stop crying, he felt a warm feeling when he was hugging his mother. He was now more sure than ever, that his mother reincarnated. Even though she didn't know him, he was already grateful that she came back. He let go of Yi Ling and looked at her.

"Can I call you my mommy?" Little tears was still evident in his red eyes. He didn't wanna trick her, but he had to. No matter what, he had always wanted to see his mother again. Now that she is standing in front of him, he never wanted anything else but to call her his mother.

Yi Ling stared at the young kid in front of her. She couldn't help but rubbed her temples. Why do I feel old again? The first time was when she met him accidentally, 6 years ago. When he called him mother.

As they stared at each other, Linyu was about to get a heart attacked. The brat was so close on revealing everything! Mu Xin!! You better get you *ss up here! Your son is causing trouble again! He tightened both of his fist. He could feel his master's emotions after all. In it, there was confusions, longing and sadness. But most of all, a woman's mother instincts was kicking in. Like she believed everything that he was saying. She was already liking the little brat. He sighed.
