The Fresh Start in an RPG World

When she felt tired, Talia got up and made her way to her room. She was a bit tired and she didn't want to keep having a staring competition with the waiter or chauffeur or whatever he was. She went to bed and woke up early the next morning.

She opened her eyes and it was a bit bright. She had to go touring today, she got up and bathed. Then when she was dressed, she went downstairs to go and get some food. When she was replenished, she went outside. When she got to her car she found the young man from last night. She tried not to make it awkward.

He opened the door for her and she got in, when she was seated she waited for him to get in and they were off.

"Are you excited for today?"

Talia looked at him, "Yes, I suppose."

When they arrived in the first place, he quickly ran around and opened the door for her. She stepped out.

"I will also be your tour guide."

Talia wanted to roll her eyes, she wondered if this guy did everything. "You can lead the way then."

With that he smiled and started to walk, she walked behind him and took out her camera. She started to snap a couple of shots.

After looking around for over two hours she started to feel a bit tired.

As if reading her thoughts, "Do you want to take a break?"

"Yes, please."

"This way then."

Talia followed him and she found an outside food place, they were chairs and tables with umbrella's over them. She sat down and took a deep breath.

"Wait here." He said.

Talia just nodded, ten minutes later he came back with a tray. He placed it in the middle and smiled at her. She started to smile a bit, and then she snapped out of it.

"I bought these for lunch, they are to die for."

"Thank you."

Talia took waffle sandwich from her plate and a drink. She took a bite and thought she was in heaven. She moaned as to how good it was, with each bite.

"Do you find food that attractive?"

Talia looked at him, "Yes I actually do."

He laughed, and he also began eating his food. When they were done eating, he turned to her, "Do you want some dessert?"

"No, I am fine."

"Okay, can you wait for me I will be back and we can carry on."

When he came back she stood up and they carried on walking. Talia wondered why she had refused dessert, she kept on side-eyeing his ice-cream, and she didn't know how to go about asking him for some.


"Right?"

"Sorry?"

He chuckled, "I knew you wouldn't be listening, is something on your mind?"

"No."

He raised his eyebrows as to how fast she had answered. Talia saw him speaking again and she only saw his mouth and the ice-cream.

"Here."

Talia looked at him holding out the ice-cream in front of her. "I think you should try it, it's very nice."

"No, it's fine. It's yours."

"I insist."

Talia took the ice-cream, "I am only taking it because you insisted, and I am just tasting it."

"Okay."

They carried on walking until they decided to call it a day. When they arrived back at the hotel, she got out of the car.

"Thank you for the tour."

"You welcome. My name is Winston by the way."

"Oh, mine is Talia." She said it hesitantly.

"Beautiful name."

She wasn't sure as to how she should respond, "Okay."

"You owe me, Talia."

"Owe you for what?"

"The Ice-cream, it's your treat next time."
