6. Keep Yourselves At Bay

She felt Ronny and the other guys were looking at her intensely, probably wondering who she was.

 

‘Men? I need to be very careful around those idiots. I have to thank God that I did Karate and Judo over the summer vacation. If they did try anything I’m sure they’ll end up six feet deep while I recover at home,’ she thought.

 

Sucking on the creamy combinations of chocolate that swirled her nerves, refreshing her mind as she released her lips from the straw with an “Ah…”

 

Suzy bit her lower lip looking embarrassed.

 

‘I didn’t just moan?’ She mumbled underneath her breath before she glanced at the guys and Ronny who were enjoying the view.

 

Immediately, she changed the atmosphere gazing at them seriously, which told them to back off. But if only she knew most men loved a good challenge. They were the grizzly bears of the world.

 

She looked up at Ronny and smiled, ‘Thanks for this, Ronny, I’ll see you around.’

 

‘You’re welcome, Suzy,’ Ronny answered watching her leave as all his friends stared her way.

 

Then the guys; mostly bear shifters came to his section.

 

Andrew asked, ‘Ronny, who was that woman you were talking to?’

 

‘That’s Suzy, my soon to be girlfriend,’ Ronny started smirking.

 

Jordan laughed, ‘Soon to be girlfriend?’ and his bear, Cody added, ‘She’s not your mate.’

 

Deck smirked, ‘It seems like we’ll be getting new blood, boys’ and his bear, Cold roared feeling eager for the caramel beauty. ‘She’s definitely our type.’

 

Andrew glared, ‘Keep yourselves at bay, men. Tyler won’t like this if we keep harassing his guest’ and his bear Ralph snorted, ‘What are you talking about? Just advance on her without anyone knowing.’ Andrew frowned, ‘So I can get my butt kick out of the cabin oh heck no’ and then he listened to his friends, Ralph disagreed.

 

‘Suzy might be a guest here but she applied for a job at the Bed & Breakfast,’ Ronny explained.

 

‘Maybe we should talk to Tyler about hiring her and then we’ll have lots of entertainment,’ Vlad added. His bear, Sync agreed.

 

Ronny shook his head, ‘Guys, I’m warning you’ and DJ continued, ‘She’s mine don’t even think about touching or tasting her.’

 

‘Honestly, let’s be men about this and settle this with the boss,’ Junior said.

 

He was the most reasonable expert around beside their leader.

 

His bear, Skool, sighed mentally, ‘How long do we have to go through this nonsense?’ listening to their friends who ignored them and continued bricking about the gorgeous woman like children.

 

Junior shook his head and answered, ‘I wish I knew, Skool.’
