"yep, just put some cast on me to prevent uhh..fracture. I may be working from home anyway."

when he looked at her conversation with Hui Yin, he glared at her. If looks could kill, Lai Lily would be a thousand times dead by now.

When he saw that she was getting discharged, he thought about fetching her and bringing her home, but the excuse of him being her boss wasn't enough reason to get her. It would make her suspicious.

In the end, he picked up his coat and car keys and walked outside his office

Derek helped Hui Yin sit on the wheelchair and walked behind her. Slowly but surely, he pushed it towards the parking lot.

both of them laughed as Derek carefully carried Hui Yin, sitting her on the front seat. When he was sure that she didn't feel umcomfortable, he hurriedly kept the wheelchair and placed it inside the trunk of the car before driving off.

None of them noticed the black Mustang that was parked behind them. Minutes later, it speeded out of the hospital and back to the villa where it first came from.
