We talk for a few more hours before I realize its already midnight.

We have class tomorrow. So we say goodnight.

I struggled to sleep that night. Not because it was difficult. Just because I was too Happy. Obscenely so.

Morning comes and after cleaning up, I make a light breakfast and get ready for school.

After morning assembly, I can see Irene surrounded with her group of friends.

If there was a casting for a female F4 (Fabulous 4). They fit the billing.

Irene is at the center clearly the emotional leader. Each of the girls are cute and pretty in their own ways but my eyes are locked at the long headed shortie.

She seems to have noticed my gaze and smiles shyly at me before turning away..

We have phys ed first today so everyone is any their athletic attire this morning.

Irene's competitive reals its ugly head once more as she seems to be doing her utmost to win the girls race despite her less than stellar athletic abilities.

After sprinting the final 100m of the 800m. She comes in a respectable 3rd but seems absolutely knackered as a result. She's breathing really hard. I really want to go over and give her a bottle water but before I can, it is the boys turn.

I take off my jacket and can hear the girls talking. All eyes seem to be on me.

Jaebum, a tall guy in our class comes over to me. I wouldn't describe him as handsome but his obviously good-looking and has his own admirers.

"Hey! Dylan, you really hide those muscles well. Can I get a feel?" he says smirk-ingly

I laugh awkwardly, "That's gross coming from a guy, you know?"

"The girls don't think so, just look at their expressions"

I turn my head towards the girls who have gathered to watch and can see the some flustered expressions. They have clearly been ogling me.

'I'm not a piece of meat!'

We line up and get ready for the start.

I'm in pretty good shape so this distance is a piece of cake. Me and Jaebum are leading the pack and have already set a nice lead.

Jaebum is breathing a little heavily but never stops talking. This chatterbox

We pump fists.

I then notice that his smile has turned kinda creepy.

I have a sense de ja vu.

I recognize that expression .

It seems like I've been tricked.

He clearly had this planned from the start.

His breathing suddenly turns normal and like a scene from a movie.

I watch him pull away from me. I try my hardest but can't keep to close the gap as he just seems to have a motor on his feet.

'Jaebum, Where are you going?!!!'
