Her Prom

[Jessica’s POV]

I attended the prom, ALONE!! So annoying! I hope that guy will not see me. I hope there will be a hero that will come to save me. My sight became blurry, a tear escaped from my eyes.

I become more annoyed when the sweet music started playing. I want to disappear. I wish I could disappear like a burst bubble.

[Allen’s POV]

I saw her sitting at the corner, She’s downcasted, to the point that the part of the gown grabbed by her hands is already creased. She is feeling low. I suddenly went to her while smiling. Then she slowly raised her head to look up. I just smiled at her while she’s still having her tears streaming down her face. I think she was shocked when she saw that the one standing in front of her is me.

Still cannot believe it.

“Hi, Jessica!” I greeted her. She rubbed her eyes, probably thinking that she’s hallucinating.

“Can I have this dance with you?”

When she heard that, her tears finally started falling again and then she hugged me tight.

My hand is holding her hand, while facing each other, I gently pulled her to dance. Her tears gradually disappeared and turned into a smile.

I put her hands around my neck and my hands on her waist. We just stared and smiled at each other.

“You become more beautiful tonight.” I whispered while staring at her. She replied a smile.

She put her forehead against mine. She closed her eyes and continued smiling. No one is speaking, we just feel the moment. Our hearts talks together.

While this music is playing, the lyrics.. are exactly what I want to say to her. I embraced her tightly and she also did the same to me.

“I love you!” Jessica said to me.

“I love you more!” I answered and kissed her.

When I remember what happened a while ago before I went to this prom, I become sad. I can’t help but embrace her more.
