Seeing that the two ignored him, Wu Xiu was infuriated, but did not let it show on his face.

He smiled like a gentleman, and answered Liang Chen's question.

"Master I am back early because I went to visit mother and she told me to tell you that she missed you. And grandfather wanted to talk to you about something as well."

Liang Chen seemed to simply ignore him, which made him even angrier, as he swore in his heart to definitely get his revenge.

Wu Xiu had an incredible background, which made him a lofty being in the Wu Empire. He had simply come here to gain a few things that his Sect was after.

He and his Sect were not from this world. Instead they were from a faraway world. It was a mid grade world, but one at the top of its grade, which made it difficult for anyone except those from a high level world that had the qualifications to ignore them.

He was the son of the current Sect Leader. About a decade and so years ago he was born between the princess of the Wu Empire and the Sect Leader of the Sword Falling Sect.

The Wu Empire spent many years studying the transportation formation they had stolen from Liang Chen at the cost of their princess and her favorite friend spending "loving" days with Liang Chen.

When the two returned neither spoke for countless days, but they had adquired a formation which no one knew what it was, but after intense study it was concluded that it could allow them to go to other worlds.

The Wu Empire used countless resources and many people through those formations, and although everytime they did so something weird appeared they simply closed their eyes to that, including countless massacres in their own palace, and even the assassination of their emperor, they closed the news about that incident.

The emperor had been old already and it was about time for him to appoint the next emperor but he had nit appointed anyone yet, so after his death, he was immediately substituted by one of his sons with the most expectations.

One day they had gotten results from one of their teleportations. And on that same day a huge event occurred in the palace. Many members of the royal familly and their experts had been massacred and their bodies went on display arround the city.

This had scared everyone, but the royal familly yet again ignored it with clenched teeth and focused on their most recent success. They sent a prince with a few people and offerings with him and sent him through the portal.

On that day the formation was destroyed and everyone who knew formations of any kind was killed.

That prince that had gotten to a new world searched for the closest sect or clan and went to pay his respects to them.

Then shockingly the Vice Sect Head found something strange in that prince and was able to find out that the prince had blood of his familly in his veins.

Meaning that in the ancient past this world and theirs was linked.

The Vice Sect Leader's familly was one of the families that had founded the Sect.

But for some unknown reason his familly had promised to always be in charge of thr Vice Sect Head position to support the clan. And the Sect Head position was always left to the most capable of the clan.

After knowing about this issue, the Wu Kingdom tried to arrange a marriage of sorts, and their princess had caught the eyes of the current Sect Leader, so a marriage between the two parties was arranged, and both parties promised different things.

The Wu Kingdom promised to take care of the son of the Sect Leader, and since that son had taken an extreme liking to his new mother, he came to this world.

Upon coming to this world, all of those that had followed him that had incredible cultivation bases, were killed on the teleportation.
