In addition, the chapters will not be locked forever, because the chapters are updated every day, so once the new chapters are updated, the previously locked chapters will be released. (How many new chapters are updated, the previously locked chapters will be released correspondingly. For example: update 1 chapter, then the previous 1 chapter will be released, and update 2 chapters will release the previous 2 chapters.)
