""Ding, congratulations to the host for completing the travel plan in the northern Hebei region and receiving rewards - White Jade Honeycomb, Blue Strawberry Fruit, and Starry Sky Melon." Soon

, three rewards appeared in front of him.

The last scenic spot Zhong Jing visited was Qinhuangdao Shanhaiguan Scenic Area..

This is a place that Zhong Jing has always wanted to go to.

Appreciate the majesty of Shanhaiguan.

Shanhaiguan gathers the essence of the ancient Great Wall and is known as the"No. 1 Pass in the World." It echoes the Jiayu Pass thousands of miles away and is famous all over the world.

Shanhaiguan The city, with a circumference of about 4 kilometers, is connected to the Great Wall and uses the city as a gateway. The city is 14 meters high and 7 meters thick. It has four main gates and a variety of defensive buildings.

So Zhong Jing decided to make this place the last place to visit.

Shanhaiguan was called Yuguan, also known as Yuguan, and Linlu Pass in ancient times. It is named Shanhaiguan because it is adjacent to Yanshan Mountain in the north and connected to the Bohai Sea in the south. Shanhaiguan gathers the essence of the ancient Great Wall of the Celestial Dynasty and is known as"the first pass in the world". Echoing the Jiayuguan Pass thousands of miles away, it is famous all over the world. Shanhaiguan City, with a circumference of about 4 miles, is connected to the Great Wall and uses the city as a gateway. The city has four main gates and a variety of ancient defensive buildings. It is a defense system A relatively complete city gate, it is known as the"No. 1 Pass in the World". The majestic"No. 1 Pass in the World" archery tower is the main body, supplemented by Jingbian Tower, Linlu Tower, Muying Tower, Weiyuan Hall, Wengcheng, and the East Gate. The Great Wall buildings such as Luocheng and Xilaocheng show tourists the ancient city defense architectural style.

Shanhaiguan is an ancient cultural city. The city wall buildings of the Ming Dynasty are basically intact. Most of the main streets and alleys have been preserved as they are. In particular, there are still a number of preserved ones. The courtyard houses make the ancient city more elegant and simple.

What adds most to the ancient city is the east gate of Guancheng, the largest gate tower in the world. It stands on the Great Wall and has a majestic view of the surrounding fields.

Climbing to the second floor of the tower, you can overlook the wilderness outside Shanhaiguan. Looking north, You can see the majestic appearance of the Jiaoshan Great Wall in the distance; the sea to the south is also dimly visible. The first gate towers in the world are in the north and south, including Huan Tower, Muying Tower and Linlu Tower. Walking on the Great Wall will make you feel the greatness of our ancestors. and Sun Hui, descendants of Yan and Huang.

Shanhaiguan City is square in plan, with a circumference of 837 paces and 4 feet, a width of 5 feet, and a moat of 2 feet and 5 feet deep surrounding it. The outer part of the city wall is covered with green bricks, and the inner part is about 50 feet high. Fourteen meters wide and seven meters wide. There are four city gates. The east is called"Zhendong Gate", the west is called"Yingen Gate", the south is called"Wangyang Gate", and the north is called"Weiyuan Gate". All four gates exist. The gate is the"No. 1 Gate in the World" and is the most complete. On top of the city gate platform is the No. 1 Gate Tower in the World. The actual measured height of the city platform is 12 meters, the height of the city tower is 13.7 meters, and the width of the building from east to west is 10 meters and 1, from north to south. It is 19 meters and 7 long. The building is divided into two floors. It is covered with gray tiles and has a single eaves on the top of the mountain. There are two floors upstairs and two floors below. There are 68 arrow windows on the north, east and south sides. They are usually closed and opened when in use. On the west side A huge plaque with black characters and white background hangs in the middle of the eaves, with the words"The First Pass in the World" written in five large characters. The handwriting is vigorous and powerful. The original is now hidden downstairs, and the one hanging outside the building is a copy made in 1920.

Regarding this huge plaque There are roughly four theories about who wrote it.

One is that it was written by Xiao Xian, a Jinshi in the eighth year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty and a native of Shanhaiguan.

This theory can be found in the"Linyu County Chronicle" compiled in the fourth year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. However, in the book, there are related records at the front , but with the word"according to legend" added, it seems not very certain. However, in local folklore, the story about the plaque inscribed by Xiao Xian is vivid. It is said that after he made a big stroke, he asked someone to hang the huge plaque on the tower. When he looked at it, he found that the word"下" was missing a little. What should I do? ?

While the onlookers were talking about it, Xiao Xian grabbed a piece of linen cloth, kneaded it into a ball, dipped it in ink, and threw it upwards, hitting the right spot. This time, the plaque became even more impressive.

Of course, this is a bit exaggerated.

But the record is true.

This is also mostly acceptable.

The second theory was written by Yan Song, a scholar of Wuyingge University during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty.

This theory was found in the"History of the Yuguan Anti-Japanese War" published in 1933. The book contains a plaque inscribed by Yan Song in the Ming Dynasty. Each character is 1.7 meters square and has been hidden in the Kuixing Tower in the southeast corner of Guancheng.

When the Japanese invaders broke through Shanhaiguan, they took it to Tokyo and displayed it publicly. Judging from the old photos taken at that time, the word"number" on the plaque is written with the prefix"bamboo". However, on the existing plaque in Shanhaiguan, the word"Di" is clearly prefixed with"草".

Some people also say that there are probably two authentic plaques, inscribed by Xiao Xian and Yan Song respectively.

However, some people searched through various local chronicles of the Qing Dynasty and found no records about Yan Song.

Perhaps, because Yan Song was a notorious traitor, the people of Shanhaiguan, who had served the country loyally for generations, kept it secret and avoided talking about it!

Zhong Jing took many photos in Shanhaiguan.

It seems like I have returned to the war era when trumpet companies and cold weapons fought. _To read the ununderlined version of the novel, please download Feilu Novels
