The Political Marriage of the Beastman Prince and Healer Princess

Three days after we left the border, we arrived at the royal palace of the Tenar Kingdom when it was already getting dark.

The door of the carriage is opened from the outside, and I get off the carriage with the help of His Highness Gresis.

“First of all, we will greet the king and my family in the audience room. After that, we will have dinner at the villa.”

“Thank you for your long journey. I am Gresis’s father, Leroy, a leopard beastman. She is my wife Denise, a leopard beastman like myself. Next to me is also a leopard beastman and the prime minister Ethan, and these two are the brothers of Gresis, the crown prince Timir and the next prime minister Frair.”

His Majesty King Leroy, Her Majesty Queen Denise, and the two brothers of Gresis had dark brown ears, leopard-print tails, blond hair, and fair skin.

It was strange that only Prince Gresis had black pigment in his ears, tail, and hair, but Prince Gresis’s eyes and nose resembled King Leroy, and his champagne-yellow eyes and his lips resembled Queen Denise.

Besides, he looked somewhat similar to both Prince Timir and Prince Frair, and there was no doubt that they were a family.
And they are all beautiful.

“I am happy to meet you for the first time. I am Lilith, Princess of the Seiran Kingdom. I am very happy to meet you all. I look forward to working with you for a long time.”
I keep smiling like royalty and politely bow as a lady.

“We will become a family. I want you to think of me as a father, my wife as a mother, and my sons as brothers. Of course, please support Gresis as your husband.”

His Majesty King Leroy nodded with a king look and said,
“By the way, Lilith, I heard that you sent embroidered handkerchiefs to the couples at the mansions where you stayed.”

I was startled.
His Majesty King Leroy heard about my blunder of falling asleep and not greeting the owners of the mansions.

“Wedding gifts have arrived from each territory by fast horse as a thank you for the handkerchiefs.”

Hmm? I’ve never heard of thanking someone for an item they gave as an apology. I wonder if it’s a cultural difference. But if they are congratulating me on my marriage, it’s polite to accept it.

“I am very honored.”
It would be nice if it didn’t leave a bad impression.

In my heart, I stroked my chest with relief, and the audience ended safely.

 

I feel like the Tenar Kingdom isn’t as politically charged as the Seiran Kingdom and Lilith is just misunderstanding. I hope that’s the case anyway.
