The RavenHill Vampires

Angel smiled as she checked the big braid in her silky white hair for the last time, she had a white dress on to compliment it and glittering hoop earrings. It was almost 11:00 and Angel didn't want to be late meeting Finn so she ran down the stairs and told her mum she'd be back soon, her ford convertible beeped when she pointed the keys at it. Angel got in and buckled her seat belt, she was checking her make up in the mirror when she saw something out of the corner of her eye. She turned and looked around wide eyed but there was nothing there, Angel looked at the mirror nervously for a second before laughing to herself "I'm probably just really nervous at meeting Finn and saw a squirrel" she thought, turning the key in the ignition.

Finn jiggled his leg up and down, he glanced at his watch for the third time in two minutes. He was sitting in a beautiful cafe that had lights strung from the ceiling and a big outdoor garden with wooden chairs and tables. Finn could feel himself getting agitated, Angel was only a couple of minutes late but to Finn it felt like a lifetime.

Angel looked at the cafe she had asked Finn to meet her at, she was relieved when she saw him sitting in the back by the blossom tree. She put on her nicest smile and walked through the door, Finn was stunned for a moment when he stood up to greet her, he was wearing a fiery red hoodie with light blue jeans but he felt very under dressed near her. It was her hair, she usually tried to hide it under a hoodie or she tied it up, but today he had plaited it into a thick entwined braid. Finn was absolutely speechless.

Angel looked at his blank face and wide eyes "Um Finn, is there something wrong?" she said in a pleasant voice. Finn blinked and cleared his throat "uh, no no um you just look amazing" he said sheepishly. Angel blushed "uh thank you, you look amazing too" she smiled still blushing when they sat down to order. They drank their hot chocolates and talked "yeah I just moved here a couple of months ago" Finn said, Angle nodded "I moved here six years ago when my dad split from my mum and I've lived here ever since" she said. Finn smiled "so is it really as boring as it looks" he mock whispered, Angel rolled her eyes "well we have a movie theater and a mall..." she said. Finn smiled again "maybe I could take you there sometime" he said slyly, Angel almost choked on her hot chocolate. "already trying to set up another date eh" she raised her eye brows and wiped the frothy chocolate off her chin, Finn grinned and lifted his head up "so is that a yes" he said cheekily. Angel grinned back "a maybe" she said, she was about to continue when she heard the familiar song Fireflies and her phone buzzed. She quickly took out her phone and saw it was an unknown caller, she was going to ignore it but Finn gestured for her to take it so she answered "hello?" she said, the line buzzed and she heard a click before the line went dead...
