  The ace pilot of the Flying Tigers, Ken Jaynst, is Chen Ruidian's fan brother. He constantly recommends Chen Ruidian to be included in the American Air Combat Heroes list. With Jaynster's continuous efforts, it was not until 1997 that Chen Ruidian's name was engraved on the American Air Combat Heroes list and was selected as the first air combat hero of the United States in World War II.

  Chen Ruidian was very happy to hear this news and planned to attend the commendation ceremony in person. But unfortunately, just one month before the ceremony, Chen Ruidian passed away, and his grandson had to attend instead.

   Even more unfortunate is that when Chen Ruidian was injured and seeking medical treatment, he encountered the Japanese air raid on Liuzhou. His wife, Ms. Wu Yuemei (daughter of Wu Tingfang), fell on Chen Ruidian to save her husband and was unfortunately hit by shrapnel and died.

  Chen Ruidian's second wife was an American nurse. After he recovered and was discharged from the hospital, he returned to China to participate in the Anti-Japanese War, and the two broke up. As a result, not long after Chen Ruidian returned to China, and before he had time to participate in the battle, Japan announced its surrender...

   If it wasn't for the purpose of downplaying the credit of the Soviet pilots this time, it is estimated that Chen Ruidian would still not be able to receive the award from the Chinese government until his death.

   Huang Xinrui, an American overseas Chinese who also belonged to the Guangdong Air Force, was treated much more justly than Chen Ruidian. He has already won a three-star star medal, and he will get another one today, and another after he sacrifices.

  Huang Xinrui is also a super ace. He participated in air battles more than 100 times in his life, shot down 8 enemy planes (it is said that 10), and survived by parachuting twice. He died in a plane crash in 1941 and was pursued as a lieutenant colonel after his death.

   Both of them are overseas Chinese from the Guangdong Air Force. Why are they treated differently?

The biggest reason is probably because Chen Ruidian's wife is Wu Tingfang's daughter. His eldest brother Wu Chaoshu, who once served as Chen Jitang's Guangzhou Nationalist government official, also had connections with Sun Ke, has always been regarded as a thorn in the eyes of Lao Jiang. Although Wu Chaoshu has been dead for many years, as Wu Chaoshu's brother-in-law, Chang Kaishen is still not used to it.

   As for why there are so many American overseas Chinese in the Chinese Air Force, because overseas Chinese are patriotic.

   Therefore, China during the Anti-Japanese War did not lack pilots, but aircraft. Many overseas Chinese pilots had nothing to do, so they signed up for the army, and countless passionate young people died on the battlefield of resistance against Japan.

  In the Guangdong Air Force of the warlord Chen Jitang, more than three-quarters of the pilots were overseas Chinese. These overseas Chinese came back to serve the motherland. As a result, Chen Jitang actually took the initiative to provoke a civil war, and even hired Japanese to command the air force. So before the battle began, the Guangdong Air Force drove more than 100 planes directly into Lao Jiang’s arms.

  It is estimated that Chen Jitang wanted to vomit blood when he heard the news, but it was the air force he spent a lot of money to build.

   Air Force athletes received the review in high spirits, but there were dozens of Soviet pilots who looked unsightly, and Kurishenko stood upright in the front row.

   Zhou Hexuan is likely to be the only figure in the Republic of China who has received the Sword of Awakening Lion. Strictly speaking, he is barely eligible for the award. The second-class Jade Picking Medal is considered the highest-level medal, and Zhou Hexuan is a lieutenant general, and he continues to make great contributions. No one can make a mistake in awarding the Lion-Awakening Sword.

   Of course, this is also a kind of win and recognition for Zhou Hexuan, and he will be rewarded for his efforts such as securing loans from the United States, donating money to buy planes, helping to decipher the code, and building a factory to produce strategic materials.
