The Rogue Witch of Taquila

Waking up in the morning, Nathalie still had the excitement which she felt from the day before. She stood up and walked towards the window with a smile on her face. Yet her excitement and happiness was shot lived as she heard an annoying voice from the bed, "It is still so early in the morning. Do you have to leave? We can still have some fun." It was the rat's boss who spends the night with her. Looking at him annoyed Nathalie replied, "Our deal is finished, so leave now. If I require further assistance, I will find you again."

Understanding the cue to leave, the boss stood up and started to dress. Just before leaving, he turned around again and said with a perverted smile, "Are you sure beauty, I can sure pleasure you, as you have noticed last night." Feeling a chill on his, he quickly laughed saying, "I am just joking, I will be waiting for you!" before leaving the room.

The happiness of the power increase came back to Nathalie as she picked up a random dress before walking towards the laboratory. Entering the room, she walked to the working bench. Looking at all her supplies, she had to prepare the remaining mixtures and plan how she would get a steady supply of the necessary ingredients.

Just at this moment Nathalie heard footsteps from outside of the laboratory. Annoyed by the idea that the perverted guy still had not left, she looked angrily at the door. Just as she was about to scream angrily, she saw a young girl walking in. All of a sudden tears started to fill her eyes, stuttering she asked "Em… Emily…? Is… is that you? Is… this… is this a dream?" Not expecting Emily to stand in front of her, Nathalie could not help herself from bursting in tears, "I am so… I am so sorry Emily. I didn't mean… I didn't mean to hurt you."

Walking slowly to Nathalie, Emily hugged Nathalie without speaking a single word. After having Nathalie firmly in her grasp, Emily whispered softly, "I do not blame you for anything, I just hope that you were successful with your experiment."

Holding Nathalie for a while, Emily realized something as she asked laughing, "I did not know that you had such sexual preferences. When did you fell in love with a mortal?"

Feeling her cheeks redden Nathalie did not know how to answer to this question. Thinking for a while she told her the truth, "It was nothing more than a business deal." She smiled back at Emily as she said excited, "As for your other question, I have indeed succeeded in making a powerful mixture that will increase a witch's power. It is all thanks to your help!"

Nathalie explained everything that had happened after she brought Emily to Stacy. What she noticed during the clean up, her idea to gather the bloods and her deal with the underground rats.

Having explained everything, Nathalie did not know what Emily would say to her. Yet to her surprise, Emily's eyes were sparkling with excitement, "Does this mean that witches can really power up with these potions? Can we finally beat these devils?"

Nathalie nodded, "I am not sure if others can also use this mixture, however, if it works we can sure beat the devils with our increased powers!" Thinking for a short while, Nathalie asked shyly, "I do not dare to propose, but, do you want to test if other witches also can use the potion?"

Without thinking for a second, Emily happily replied, "Of course, all in order to beat the devils and win the war." Thinking a bit more about it she said, "But I am only an assistant witch, this potion will be wasted on me if it works."

Getting angry at what she heard Nathalie said, "I will pretend that I never heard what you just said. Nothing will be a waste on you. If it was not for you, this potion would have never been developed. Moreover, I do not care what the other witches think, in my eyes you are the most valuable witch there is." Having said all this, the cheeks of Nathalie started to redden, as she felt a weird feeling in her heart towards Emily. Trying to hide this, Nathalie turned her back to Emily as she walked towards the working bench.

Following the steps, Nathalie prepared another vial of the mixture in a short time. She walked back to Emily. Looking at her body, she did notice some scars from the acid burns, feeling guilt, she could not forgive herself for causing harm to Emily. Her heart started to ache again, the feeling she tried to hide from Emily, caused her to feel an incredible pain.
