The Second Life Of Naota Takaki

"You're leaking quite a lot of power, Takaki Naota." Pistom says to Naota as a whitish aura begins to surround Pistom.

(His leaking quite a lot of mana himself now)

Naota smirks.

"Talk about being stupid." Naota says with a smirk.

Naota in a split second vanishes and appears behind Pistom. Pistom's eyes widen as his pupil move behind him to look at Naota.

Naota spins his body around and kicks Pistom in the face. Pistom blocks Naota's kick. Naota looks at Pistom with his cold eyes.

(WHAT?! HE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE SURPRISED I BLOCKED HIS KICK! DOES HE HAVE MORE POWER OR IS HE TRYING TO CONFUSE ME?!)

Pistom catches Naota's foot and spins Naota's body towards the entrance of the rooftop.

Naota control his fall and uses his toes to balance himself.

Naota begins to run towards Pistom.

The king watches from the distance, "What's that boy's name?" The king asks one of his advisors. "It's Takaki Naota, my lord." The advisor bows his head and says. "How very interesting..." The king gives a smile.

The fierce battle continues as on the other end Skar begins to make his way towards the palace along with Prenci. "Skar, are you sure this is the best choice?" Prenci asks Skar as they run towards the palace. "You know that only the hero can defeat him, so...Why..." Prenci seems to be questioning Skar. "Because...Once the battle is over, you will be treating the hero, that is what we must do...We can't let the hero die. Remember what our master said to us, a hero is only born once and once that hero is born, you have to take care of that hero until he is capable of holding his own. That man is not capable of holding his own yet, that man has no experience whatsoever." Skar says to Prenci. Prenci gives a smile. "I wonder...Do you see him as your own son, Skar...?" Prenci questions Skar. Skar gives a smile. "Maybe...Maybe that's why when I first saw him stand in front of the king...I saw him being my own son...That's how I wanted to raise my child...Just like that boy and I will not let him die..." Skar says with determination. "Your such an idiot...Skar...My idiot husband..." Prenci leaves a chuckle.

Back at the castle,

"Your wounds have reopened and it seems that you don't have any kind of worries whatsoever about your wounds." Pistom says to Naota as Naota's forehead wound opens and his forehead begins to bleed but the cold look in his eyes doesn't go away.

Naota rushes towards Pistom again but a sickle was inside Naota's left abdomen before he could rush Pistom. "Such an inexperienced brat you are Takaki Naota, you didn't even pay attention on whether your opponent had any weapons or not." Pistom gives Naota a smirk as a chained sickle was held by him.

Pistom pulls back the sickle as Naota begins to bleed. Naota puts his hand over his wound. "Was that all you got?" Naota asks Pistom. "WHAT?!" Pistom looks at Naota and his cold eyes.

(Why do his eyes look like they are that of a demon to me? What's with him? Is even a human or is he some kind of monster?!)

Naota readies his dagger and rushes towards Pistom. "STOP RIGHT THERE TAKAKI NAOTA!!!" Naota stops himself as he puts a dagger near Pistom's neck and a voice echoes.

Naota looks at his left on the roof where a man wearing a sweatshirt holds Tia captive.

"You don't want to lose her right?" The man questions Naota.

"Great Catch Josef, great job!" Pistom say to the man. "This is what inexperience can do, Takaki Naota, now you are in great trouble."
