“Excuse me for touching your back.”

Placing a measuring tape on his broad back, during the free time at night, I asked Schwarz-sama to measure me. As I am short, I need a step stool to measure the length and the width of the clothing. Now, standing on the second level of the stool, I can look down at Schwarz-sama, whom I usually have to look up to.

This time, I was making a collarless tunic with sleeves. Since it was my first time, I chose a simple design. Once I make the pattern, I can make various adjustments.

As I was measuring his shoulder width, wearing a shirt for loungewear, he turned slightly and asked, “Do you want me to take it off?”

I replied, “No, it’s okay for now!” I was nervous as our eyes were so close while I was standing on the stool.

He probably suggested it to make it easier for me to measure him. However, I shook my head in refusal, and Schwarz-sama furrowed his brow curiously and asked, “How about later?”

I replied, “Yes. I’ll adjust the cloth to fit your body after cutting it before sewing it, so I’ll measure it then.”

“How long does it take to make clothes?”

“It depends on the item. This time, since I’m making the pattern, it will take a few days.”

If I concentrate, I might be able to finish it in a day. But since I work on it in between my household chores, the progress is not fast.

“You should make your own clothes a priority and put mine aside.” 

“Using a larger fabric makes it easier to sew. I also want to check the sewing machine’s condition.” 

… But that’s just an excuse. At first, I decided to make Schwarz-sama’s clothes.

“Well, do what Michelle wants,” Schwarz-sama said calmly.

“During the weekday working hours, do as you please. The house is always clean because of you. It won’t be chaotic even if you don’t clean for a few days.”

“Thank you very much.” 

As the household servant, it was my duty to take care of the housework. However, I was pleased that he trusted and allowed me to act freely. I am motivated to finish it soon and have Schwarz-sama wear it.

I measured the length, width, sleeves, chest, waist, and arm circumference. Since the general has developed shoulder and biceps muscles, I need to make it slightly wider than the ready-made pattern. And then…

“Sorry. I’ve always had a weak spot in my neck… it’s just really ticklish.”

Blushing all the way up to his ears, the most powerful general in our country stuttered out an excuse.

I didn’t know what to do. He was just too cute.

“Oh… um, sorry for touching you all of a sudden. But I was able to take your measurements just now, so it’s okay.”

“I see…”

He still had a red face.

I accidentally discovered Schwarz-sama’s weakness, but I’ll keep it as our little secret.
