Aion's heart sank with each anguished cry that escaped his father and sisters. He could see the desperation and confusion in their eyes, the battle between their true selves and the parasitic control. It was a cruel reminder of the depth of their suffering and the power the parasites held over them.

"He has years to plan, so I should expect this much…" Aion thought while biting his fingernails. "Still, even if he had time, I won't let a dumbass that let the world end and cowered in a hole and waited for the storm to end…"

Aion tried to put them to sleep as well, but that didn't work. Hitting them in the head was too dangerous as well… most likely, the parasites would force them to move even while they were unconscious.

Vangel's decision to use parasites instead of directly mutating Aion's father and sisters stemmed from his desire to maintain control and manipulate them for his own purposes. While mutation could have granted them formidable powers, it also carried the risk of unpredictable outcomes and potential resistance.

By employing parasites, Vangel could exert a more subtle and insidious influence over their minds and bodies. Parasites, with their ability to infiltrate and manipulate the host's biological systems, offered a method of control that allowed Vangel to maintain a higher degree of influence and ensure their obedience.

Furthermore, parasites provided Vangel with a means to gradually corrupt their thoughts and emotions, gradually eroding their true selves and replacing them with loyalty to his cause. This slow and methodical approach allowed him to mold them into obedient pawns, ready to carry out his bidding without question.

"This seems to be the reason…" Aion thought while clenching his teeth.

After thinking for a while, Aion assumed that perhaps the Healer King class could help him with that. Cailena was the best healer that he knew, after all. However, he didn't have much time to gain experience and make that class reach more levels to gain skills.

"Even here, I can still gain experience from my death knights," Aion thought while rubbing his chin. "Still, there must be other ways to learn the next skills or to level up that class. Think, Aion, think."

Malon, Cailena, and the others got stronger after facing numerous foes, but they also got stronger thanks to their training. It would be nice if Aion had the knowledge and time to do the same, but he didn't.

The parasites used by Vangel were specifically designed to attach themselves to the nervous system and organs of their hosts. Through a combination of biological adaptations and supernatural properties, they could infiltrate and establish a symbiotic relationship with the host's body.

The attachment process typically begins when the parasites make contact with the host's skin or enter the body through various means, such as ingestion or inhalation. This connection allowed them to tap into the electrical impulses and chemical signals that flowed throughout the body, effectively gaining control over the host's motor functions, sensations, and even emotions.

"Considering the memories that I have of her and her methods of training, what should I do?" Aion thought. "I need to hurry up…"
