Chapter 126 - 126 – The Room Full Of Doors

Mi Young didn't know how long they had been running. The only thing she remembers was the series of doors they managed to go into while they were on the run. However, it didn't bother her at all, what was making her annoyed was the fact that even with the many doors they have managed to use, the beasts just keep on coming after them.

"How the hell are they still trying to pursue us?!" Mi Young shouts as she looks back and sees the hoard of beasts still trying to run after them.

"You tell me! I don't know how to get rid of them anymore!" Hae Choon shouts back as he manages to open another door. "Quick! In here!"

The two of them instantly stopped the moment they realized what room they went into.

It took them a couple of seconds before they reacted.

It was Mi Young who reacted first. "What the hell is this!?"

There were thousands of doors in front of them. Doors with different colors and sizes and it's making the both of them feel dizzy.

"I…I can't deal with doors anymore." Hae Choon says while looking at the doors.

Mi Young was about to agree to the other party but the moment she hears the sound of rumbling again, she bites her lip before saying, "We better choose a door now or the beasts will catch us."

"Quick! Into that red door!" Hae Choon shouts as he points to the red door which was the only door closest to them.

He grabs the doorknob and turns it around. Hae Choon ushered the black haired girl inside so the beast wouldn't catch up on them. The other party then quickly closes the door so none of the beast would know where they went. However, the moment he turns around to check on his companion, he is left dumbfounded.

"Why…are there so many doors even here?" Hae Choon asks while he roams his eyes towards another group of doors.

"I don't know what's happening but I think it's good that there are doors here so we can definitely run away from the beasts." Mi Young exclaims while she starts walking towards an orange door on their left. "Hurry!"

Hae Choon only nodded as a sign of approval. But the moment they entered the orange door, they were greeted by another series of doors again.

That didn't stop the two of them from continuing on choosing and entering a door that they like, the only thing that was on their mind was to get away as far as possible from the beasts.

While entering their 19th door, Mi Young and Hae Choon finally decided to stop.

"I think we finally got away from them." Mi Young exhales while leaning against their 19th door.

Hae Choon was sitting on the floor just right next to the girl as he let out a deep and exhausted sigh. "I'm getting dizzy with all the doors we just entered."

"At least the beasts aren't after us anymore. With that many doors, I'm sure there won't be any reason for them to find us." The black haired girl says as she slowly slides down the door until she is sitting right next to Hae Choon. "So what do we do now?"

"We choose  a door?" Hae Choon jokes out. Mi Young, somehow find this a little funny despite the situation they are in.

"I wonder what Lady Ning Gwang is doing right now." Mi Young says while thinking about her white haired teacher and the last time she saw her and Kwang Soo.

On the other hand, Lady Ning Gwang bites down her lip as she enters her cousin's office.

"What do you want? And where are the two students with you?" The GrandMaster questions while eyeing the two vacant spots on the other party's side.

"That's why I'm here."

Lady Shin Yu sighs before putting down her pen and placing both of her elbows on top of her office table as she places her chin on top of her entangled hands. "Why do I feel like you're trying to ask for my help?"

"Because I really need your help."

"Ning Gwang you know I—"

"Please. They are very important to me."

Lady Shin Yu regards her cousin for a moment. She looked at the teacher's eyes to see her true emotions and the only thing she saw in the other party's eyes was the look of sincerity and concern. "Tell me what happened."

"So the older student, Kwang Soo, wanted to know the true secret behind the reason why your city kept on floating for thousands of years—"

"But that's classified—"

"I know. Let me talk." Lady Ning Gwang says while cutting off her cousin who gave her a soft glare. The teacher sticks her tongue out at the other party which made the Grand Master roll her eyes at her older cousin. "Anyway, I tried to tell Kwang Soo that it was a dangerous idea. Mi Young, the other student, did too. However, the boy was just too curious for his own good and he proceeded with his plan."

"And I'm guessing you didn't stop him."

Lady Ning Gwang shrugs at that. "Anyway, Mi Young tried to protest at first but she ended up following him to see if she could still stop the boy from his plans. But looking at the situation now, I guess they both ended up doing the mission together. I just hope that they aren't caught."

"Wait, how did they even find out about the headquarters? I mean, that place is a secret that none of the citizens even know!" The Grand Master reasons out.

Lady Ning Gwang has an innocent look on her face as she says, "Oh? Your Vice Captain showed it to them."

Grand Master Shin Yu looks taken aback at first before she lets out a deep sigh and features Lady Ning Gwang to continue her explanation.

"So, I waited for them to come back. But I have this huge feeling that something bad has happened to them. You see, I put on some tracking mana around them without them knowing. At first, I could still hear their mana so I was confident that they're still here around the city and that they're safe. However, after a few hours, their mana just…vanished."

"Vanish? Mana auras can't just vanish unless—"

"Unless someone has tampered with them. I know." Lady Ning Gwang says while finishing her cousin's sentence. "My mana tracker is very strong and cannot be broken unless someone as powerful as me or stronger than me tampers with it."

Grand Master Shin Yu looks at her own cousin with widened eyes. "You mean to say…"

The white haired teacher nodded grimly. "It means someone has caught my students and is planning to do something bad to them."

"Achoo!" The black haired girl immediately wipes off the snot on her nose.

"It's the third time you sneezed in a span of two minutes. Am I that dirty?" Hae Choon questions while giving the black haired student a disappointed look.

"Shut up." Was Mi Young's only response. After that, she instantly got up from her sitting position and dusted off her clothes. Then, she points at the doors in front of them. "We've been sitting here for so long, I think it's time for us to pick a door."

"Why? We're safe here. And there are no beasts or soldiers coming after us." Hae Choon replies lifelessly.

Mi Young glared at him. "Have you forgotten your main reason why you're here? Or are you giving up already?"

The male didn't answer after that which just made the black haired girl even madder. She turns away and starts to choose a door on her own. "Whatever. I guess this is goodbye."

The black haired girl didn't hear anything from the other party after that, so she just continued walking along the many doors displayed in front of them.

She remembered the first time she was able to feel mana auras like how teacher Ning Gwang told her.

Mi Young remembered hearing her teacher say something about feeling the mana aura of the objects around her in order to know if it can lead her to the right or wrong way. The black haired girl closes her eyes as she summons her mana energy.

Lady Ning Gwang said something about imagining your mana energy and deciding what color you like it to look like. The young student draws out more of her mana energy and tries to think about it in a colorless state. Now, she imagined what her teacher would say next.

'Now try to put your hands on top of the object you would like to feel, if it turns a darker color, it means it will bring you luck and its energy is bad for you. And if it doesn't change any color at all, it has good intentions.' Mi Young remembered what her teacher said.

She follows what the teacher says as she starts putting her hands on top of every door on her way, trying to feel their mana aura.
